We have enlisted the help of 18 celebrity guests to tell the following tale - Ruth (Sophie Aldred) likes young dudes & may one day become their leader. The Doctor & chums are having a picnic with the Judoon but are short on cheese & pickles. Gat (Nabil Shaban) is a Covidian... or comedian... they are hard of hearing so they get confused! In the first part of this fully improvised story Barbara was on a blind date with a Telly Reptile only to find that there were baby Rutans in their soup!! Can the Doctor come to the rescue, or is he too busy eating cheese? & what are all those groans? Surely that can't be the audience reacting to all the cheese puns? Can it? 

In this week's totally improvised nonsense, the 1st Doctor chaperones Barbara on a blind date, where they meet a familiar scaly face & the Doctor obsesses about cheese! Now with added French Waiter!

Last week our improv crew started discussing An Unearthly Child episode 1. They struggled to keep on topic a bit (A BIT???) to the extent that we had to split this into 2 parts....so to find out if they managed to stick to the point this time you'll need to listen! Otherwise there will be spoilers!

We are all about improv here at DWLIIA, so this week we're ignoring that completely & doing another review episode because you seem to like them! We go right back to where it all began, for Doctor Who AND for us - An Unearthly Child 1.....part 1....we MAY go off topic slightly! You have been warned.

When we last left our improvised story Christopher Guard was about to be eaten by the Loch Ness Monster in deserted London. Heavens to Betsy, surely not? How can the Doctor, Peri, Tegan & Mickey save him, the city & the world....& probably the universe? Whatever it is, it will likely be convoluted, drawn out & overlong, coz that's how we roll!! Well, that's irrelevant because this is audio...but we can tell you that it takes SEVEN to review the S12 series finale - The Timeless Children! Who are those 12? You'll have to listen to find out!!! Expect swearing, laughing, the occasional belch...& to find out which if any of Sue's mad theories actually happened!

Series 12 rattles along towards its inevitable conclusion like a juggernaut...& DWLIIA is puffing & panting as it struggles to keep up, wheezily reviewing away behind it! This week we see very little attempt to keep the episode length in check, partly because there was so much to talk about, but mainly because of Sue's wild & crazy theories & predictions, & Darren's swearing & belching!
