These Amazing Places Podcast

This week we focus on the Germany Biergarden Restaurant in Epcot's World Showcase. First we fill you in on new coasters around the U.S. in our travel segment. Then hear audio and reviews of the German Pavilion.

This week's show is a lot less talking and a lot more audio. We play several audio recordings of various places inside the Disney World Parks. Many of them are not attractions and it's all audio you've never heard from us before. We are looking to purchase these audio samples so if you know about them, please let us know where we can buy them.

Next week is show 100 and we talk a bit about that. SCUBA diving is fun but what about SCUBA diving in Disney? Listen to reviews, details, and more out of Epcot's Disney Diving Experience. Also Doug gives some insights into diving and other places that might be of interest to divers. A video of our friends diving in Epcot will release later this week.

We look at a different subject this week, travel pertaining to monorails, trains, and various thoughts about each. Disney is involved because they have a monorail with audio for vacations, but this week we also discuss some interest in having transportation for our every day lives. Part 2 will follow in the weeks but we'd love to hear from you especially about how you think this can be done.

No real travel segment this week but definitely some new things you might find interesting, especially regarding a test phase of ticketing at Rockin' Roller Coaster. Hear us talk about this year's Flower and Garden festival in Epcot and hear some audio from one of the performers. Don't forget we usually post photos on our flickr and all are available to download.

We continue where we left on from show 94 and cover much more from the Universal Studio Florida Resort. We focus on cost of resorts and hotels, cost of meal plan and express tickets, and we give you information on each of these to help plan your trip to Universal Orlando.

This week we head back to our travel segment with lots of interesting things. First a look at kayak.com, the new Disney Specials good through August 14th, and audio celebrating Presidents Day from Disney's Hall of Presidents.

This week we cover a new place we've not talked about yet, Universal Studios Theme Park in Orlando Florida. We go through the layout and lands as well as the Universal Citywalk overview. During the show we give you some main ideas about the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter and play audio from the promotion on the Harry Potter latest DVD. Tell us what you think of the new place and stay tuned because we will cover this again in the near future.

This week we begin with travel news including some Universal Studios news. Hear audio from the O Canada Attraction in Disney's Epcot as well as our description of it. Also we talk about our vision for the U.S. trains that the government has invested 8 billion dollars in.

This week we have our usual travel segment filled with more Disney news. We also speak to Disney World guests who might not plan a lot before going and we encourage you to not just eat the burgers. Finally we finish up with audio from the Country Bear Jamboree attraction in the Magic Kingdom. Stay tuned for show 100 coming up in 8 weeks. It will be a change of pace show so submit your ideas if you want to.

This week after some Carnival Cruise announcements and Disney Extra Magic Hours updates, we talk about the Indiana Jones Stunt Show out of Disney's Hollywood Studios. A just because we're nice, we have audio from the attraction too!

With the tv show coming back this week, we'd thought it would be good to talk about the American Idol Experience Attraction in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Entering into our last week of Christmas shows, we talk more about Disneyland. Last season we spoke a lot about the park and this show we fill in some more gaps. Hear from listener Bob's email, get live audio from his trip, and we finish up with lots of talk about future expansions going on in Disney's California Adventure in California. This week we spend some time talking about all the wonderful holiday decorations that Disney World adds to make the season more merry not to mention the special events that go on. This year there are 2 brand new decorations in Disney's Contemporary Resort and we talk about those. Also on the show is in park audio, discussion of Disney shows on TV, and travel news.

In Holiday cheer we talk about the Columbus Zoo and the amazing light display during the season. We also talk a little bit about the Zoo itself, and you'll want to hear about it since Columbus has been rated the top Zoo in the United States.

In perfect timing of the Grand Parade in NYC, we talk about the Rockefeller Center this week. We also give some various info on the travel segment varying from Disney to Airline travel costs to random food places.
