Not long ago at Podfest 2016 in Tampa Khadija Bazzi Hamdar had an idea.  She wanted to create a podcast that would help educate listeners on Islam and dispel all of the myths and misunderstandings of the faith.  Her goal was to show that ISIS bends the faith and its core values to manipulate and deceive and she wanted to add her Western views on it as well.  Khadija was born in Canada and has already caused a stir with the show.  Her Facebook threads are filled with angry listeners and Facebook visitors and she has taken her fair share of verbal abuse.  Now she visits All Things Post to discuss the launch of the podcast, the making of the podcast and the future of A Muslim Pearl in a Western Shell.

The ladies of Blue Collar Post Collective return to All Things Post with a huge announcement!  They are going bi-coastal launching the BCPC West on June 11, 2016 in Los Angeles.  We welcome founders Katie Hinsen and Janis Vogel along with Kylee Pena of BCPC West for a candid interview about what got them where they are today and their vision for the future.  

Executive producer Chris Krimitsos has spearheaded the creation and execution of the Podfest conference.  In its 2nd year, Podfest has attracted beginners, independents and pros to learn from one another and share ideas.  Now he has partnered with ATP host Niel J. Guilarte to produce his first documentary film on podcasting.   Directed and produced by Niel Guilarte the film will take a four man unit across Florida and across the nation to capture the stories in person and unfiltered. Film editor Saulo Zayas has worked with Niel before on the short action film Cerrera and Lessons of Don Armando.  Now he has been brought on to piece this documentary together and weave the stories together for all to see.  We talk about his style, how he will deliver the vision that Chris has entrusted him with and more.  

Danny Pena is the founder and star of Gamertag Radio.  We met Danny in his hometown of Kendall, near Miami at Sergio's restaurant to discuss his keynote speech at Podfest 2016 in Tampa as well as to get a behind the scenes look at Gamertag, Danny's history and his plans for the future.  Gamertag is not on CBS radio and the growth has no end in site.  Listen in to the first live recording for All Things Post outside of Podcast Movement 14 and tell us how you like the live format!

Michele Yamazaki Terpstra is Pluginologist for Toolfarm. She is currently updating Greenscreen Made Easy: Keying and Compositing Techniques for Indie Filmmakers with Jeremy Hanke, which will be ready for a summer 2016 publish date. The original was published in 2009 from MWP. She wrote Plug-in with After Effects: Third Party Plug-in Mastery, which came out in June 2011. Michele started at Postworks as a motion graphics artist. She taught After Effects and Photoshop at Kendall College of Art & Design. In 2001, she launched AEFreemart.com and in 2002 co-founded West Michigan Animation & Effects User Group. She is a former board member of MCA-I Mid-Michigan and West Michigan Film & Video Alliance. Michele has a BA from Grand Valley State University. She lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, Dan, her lovely daughter, Lily, and her cat, Tressa.
