Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 10 ~ Journeying to Mt Sinai
02/03/2020 Duración: 25minWhen we seek to do the will of the Father, He will take us to the Promised land. The purpose of the children of Israel coming out of Egypt was not just to put the blood of the lamb on the doorposts, which prophetically foreshadows salvation in Messiah. That was not the end goal. That was just the beginning of the journey to the Promised land: And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers. Deuteronomy 6:23 We see a biblical pattern. The nation of Israel was “saved by grace through faith”, and then they went to Mount Sinai to step into a marriage covenant with the receiving of the Ten Commandments. Similarly, after we are saved, we are to live out our salvation by following the Torah by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Pharaoh and his army drowned in the Red Sea. Spiritually, this represents that we are not totally free from Egyptian bondage (sin) until the death of Pharaoh’s authority over our lives (we crucify the flesh). We are red

Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 9 ~ See the Salvation of the LORD!
02/03/2020 Duración: 25minIn this teaching segment, we continue looking at the spiritual meaning and significance of Passover and how this applies to our spiritual walk. On the Passover, the lamb was roasted with fire. Fire represents judgment: And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. Exodus 9:23 Fire also represents the trials and tribulations we go through for the purpose of refining and purifying us. In this segment, we also look at the Feast of Unleavened bread. Leaven in the Bible represents sin.Unleavened bread represents holiness and living our lives in truth and sincerity of heart. Unleavened bread is associated with seeking to live a consecrated and sanctified life. We also see in the deliverance and redemption out of Egypt that the nation of Israel was saved by faith through grace. This is a Torah concept. The children of Israel literally “see” the salvation of the LORD when they came to

Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 8 ~ Living an “Unleavened Lifestyle”
20/02/2020 Duración: 25minThe lamb was eaten with unleavened bread. Leavened bread represents sin. Leaven represents works of the flesh. Leaven represents the things that YHVH hates. Unleavened bread represents being without sin. The lamb was eaten with bitter herbs. Bitterness represents being disobedient to YHVH and to His Torah. Bitterness is linked with rebellion. Bitterness represents hardships, trials and testings. The lamb was roasted with fire. Fire represents judgment. Fire also represents refinement and purification. Fire also represents the trials of our faith: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations [trials]. James 1:2 We follow up Passover with the Feast of Unleavened bread. Unleavened bread represents living our lives with sincerity and truth: Purge out therefore the old leaven, that

Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 7 ~ Our Walk with Yeshua
20/02/2020 Duración: 25minIn the Passover, we are told that the legs of the lamb must be eaten. The legs of the lamb represent our walk with Yeshua and our walk in the Torah. Walking in Torah is walking in truth. Walking in Torah is walking in the light. Walking in Torah is walking in love. We are to eat the Passover lamb with loins girded: And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S Passover. Exodus 12:11 Our loins are girded with truth (The Torah): Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God …Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness. Ephesians 6:13-14 The lamb was eaten with a staff in the hand. The staff represents power and authority to rule and reign. The staff of the Good Shepherd brings comfort. Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion ~ Pt 6 ~ Passover: The Door That We Walk through to Leave Egypt
20/02/2020 Duración: 25minPassover is known as the Festival of Freedom. Why is Passover called the Festival of Freedom? For the children of Israel it was deliverance from their physical bondage to Pharoah. It teaches us about our deliverance that Yeshua provides for us from our spiritual bondage to sin. Yeshua is our Passover lamb. The blood of the lamb was put on the doorpost. Yeshua is the door. The doorpost is a circumcised heart. Yeshua is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. John 1:29 Yeshua is our Passover lamb: I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 5 ~ Parable of Sower & Redemption from Egypt
20/02/2020 Duración: 25minBelieving the promises of God will be patterned after the parable of the sower. In this teaching segment we will learn how the parable of the sower is applied in the situation with Moses as he brings the promise of redemption and deliverance to the children of Israel. This promise is “tested” through their circumstances. In Exodus 3:19 and Exodus 5:2, we see that Pharoah rejects the word of the Lord: And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. Mark 4:15 Then persecution arises to “test” the promise of God: And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw. Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished. Exodus 5:10-11 In the midst of the persecution, the children of Israel become offended: And these are they likewise which are sown on stony gro

Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 4 ~ Coming out of Egypt
19/02/2020 Duración: 25minIn this teaching segment we will learn about a fundamental Torah principle: *Biblical History is Prophecy What happened to the children of Israel when they were redeemed out of Egypt, is a prophecy of what will happen to their future descendants. It is also a spiritual blueprint for all believers in Yeshua who follow after them. Egypt is a type of the world and world's system. Pharaoh is a type of Hasatan. The bondage that the children of Israel experienced in Egypt is a type of the bondage which we experience when we follow after the ways of the world and the world's system. Yeshua is our Passover lamb. After we leave Egypt, we are to seek to live holy lives. This is unleavened bread. However, we have to learn how to live a holy life. We will see an application of the parable of the sower that sows the word is going to be played out in Moses being instructed by the God of Israel to go to Pharoah and to say to Pharoah, “Let my people go!”. This is a teaching for us regarding the process we will go throu

Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 3 ~ Walking in the Faith of Abraham
19/02/2020 Duración: 25minAbraham grew in his spiritual maturity by obeying the Torah: And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Genesis 26:4-5 The bride of Yeshua loves Yeshua and His Torah with her whole heart. We are commanded to be spiritually mature. The bride of Messiah is spiritually mature and without blemish. Abraham was given an instruction and a promise. Abraham was called out of Babylon. The bride of Messiah is called out of Babylon. The God of Israel makes another covenant promise to Abraham (Genesis 15:1-5). Abraham’s righteousness is based on him believing the promise of God. Abraham expressed faith/trust in the promises of God. The promises of God are based upon covenant relationship with him. Abraham’s life and calling is a spiritual picture of the life and calling of the bride of Me

Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 2 ~ The Purpose of Creation
19/02/2020 Duración: 25minOur citizenship is in heaven. We are strangers and pilgrims on the earth. We are sent to the earth to represent the Kingdom of God on earth. We are to establish and teach the values of the Kingdom of God to others so that His will to be done on earth even as it is done in heaven. The purpose of life is to do the will of God in our lives and give glory to our heavenly Father. The Will of God is to believe that Yeshua is the Messiah and to follow His Torah by the Holy Spirit. The world was created for the Messiah and he desires to have a bride to dwell with Him for all eternity. We are not to be confirmed to this world’s values but we are to seek to live holy lives. Yeshua created the heavens and earth. The world was made for Yeshua so that He could have a Bride who would live and dwell with Him forever in the New Jerusalem. Yeshua, His Bride and His Torah are one. Are these teachings a blessing to you? Please make a donation: http://www.hebrootsradio.com/give/ For more Eddie Chumney teachings and beau

Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 1 ~ The Journey: Spiritual Blueprint for the Life of a Believer
19/02/2020 Duración: 25minWe are going to learn in this teaching that the literal, physical journey of the children of Israel out of Egypt to the Promised land is given to us by the God of Israel as a spiritual blueprint for the life of a believer. This spiritual blueprint is given to us to understand: *the Messiah Yeshua *the ways of the Kingdom of Heaven *the ways of the God of Israel *We are each on our own spiritual faith journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Paul explains this principle in Romans 15:4: For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. The Minchah Offering Pt 2 ~ An Offering Made by Fire!
10/02/2020 Duración: 25minThe Minchah Offering is an offering made by fire. Spiritually, fire represents the trying and testing of our faith. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7 The Minchah offering is when we OFFER ourselves as a FREE gift to Yahweh and praise and thank and worship Him AFTER we have gone through trials, tribulations, and disappointments. We become a Minchah freewill gift offering to the Lord when we DON’T understand…and we enter into a LIFESTYLE of praise and worship because of WHO HE IS and NOT how you feel based upon your circumstances. It is a DAILY offering. The Minchah Offering is associated with reconciliation, consecration, righteousness, holiness and giving praise to the God of Israel. Listen in to this deep, rich, insightful teaching. Take it to heart and you will never be the same! Are these teachings a blessing to you? Please make

The Minchah Offering Pt 1 ~ A Gift from the Heart
10/02/2020 Duración: 25minThe Minchah Offering is a gift from the heart. The Minchah Offering is part of the daily Tamid Lamb burnt offering service. The Minchah Offering is burnt on the altar. The altar expresses worship of the God of Israel. We are to give our lives unto the God of Israel for service unto His Kingdom. The Minchah Offering is most holy. When we give our lives to the God of Israel as a gift to Him from our heart, it is most holy unto Him.When the God of Israel accepts our offerings unto Him upon His altar as we give our lives with all of our heart as a gift of service unto His Kingdom, He will dwell with us and His glory is manifested in our lives. The Minchah Offering will be shut down at the start of the great tribulation. When this happens, the God of Israel wants His people to weep, lament and pray. Those who weep, lament and pray for the shutting down of the altar and the minchah offering during the great tribulation, the God of Israel will give unto His people a minchah offering (a gift from His heart) which

Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 12 ~ The Song of the Lamb: End of the exile of the 12 tribes!
29/01/2020 Duración: 25minThe Song of Moses, from Exodus 15 is a prophetic outline of the events in Revelation. The Temple Sabbath service with the Song of Moses is a teaching and is prophetic of an outline of events in the book of Revelation Ch 4-19. The song of Moses is sung in Exodus 15. Every Sabbath service in the Temple, there was the reciting of the Song of Moses from Exodus 15. This song is a prophetic “key” to unlocking the themes in the book of Revelation. The song of Moses is divided into three sections: *Yeshua as a man of war *Yeshua redeeming His people *Yeshua reigning as King forever and ever We see these same themes in the book of Revelation. In the book of Revelation, the setting is the prophetic Sabbath of creation (the Day of the Lord), Yeshua is seen as a man of war, ending the exile of the 12 tribes and reigning as King over all the earth. The twelve tribes of Israel will be gathered and reunited during the Great Tribulation. The exile will be over and the Song of the lamb will be sung with great joy!

Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 11 ~ Temple Service on the Sabbath and the Song of Moses
29/01/2020 Duración: 25minIn this next section of the teaching we will learn that the God of Israel commanded that an additional two lambs were offered every Sabbath (Numbers 28:9-10). In the Sabbath service, there was the reciting of the Song of Moses from Exodus 15. John the disciple of Yeshua was shown a vision which took place in the “Day of the Lord”. From Revelation chapters 4 to 19, the setting of events is in the Temple in heaven where is heaven’s spiritual continuous worship of the Lamb who is slain from the foundation of the world. When John was caught up in the spirit to heaven, he saw a door opened. The gate of the Temple is opened to start the morning daily tamid lamb offering. There are 24 elders around the throne in heaven. There are 24 courses of priests in the Temple. *Every Sabbath in the Temple, the God of Israel commanded an additional lamb offering. The Song of Moses (Exodus 15) was recited in the Temple. The Temple Sabbath service with the Song of Moses is a teaching and is prophetic of an outline of eve

Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 10 ~ Stopping of Lamb Offering Ushers in the Day of the Lord
29/01/2020 Duración: 25minThe daily tamid lamb offering was STOPPED in the First Temple on the 17th of Tamuz. Lucifer was an anointed cherub who led the continuous worship of Yeshua in the heavens. Lucifer rebelled against worshipping Yeshua and wanted himself to be worshipped. When Lucifer rebelled, he suspended the continuous worship of Yeshua in the heavens. The earth is a blueprint of the spiritual world and the end is told in the beginning. Satan will cause the daily tamid lamb offering to be stopped which will cause the start of the great tribulation on the earth. During the great tribulation, Satan, the false Messiah and the nations on the earth will be judged. During the first Temple, the daily tamid lamb offering was stopped on the 17th of Tammuz. (Daniel 8:11, Daniel 11:31) The stopping of the daily tamid lamb offering ushers in the Day of the Lord (Joel 1:13, 15) Are these teachings a blessing to you? Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 9 ~ Binding of Isaac Foreshadows the Daily Tamid Lamb Offering
29/01/2020 Duración: 25minIn Genesis 22:2, the God of Israel tells Abraham the following: Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” Abraham was obedient. The very next morning he rose up early, taking wood with him and bringing Isaac with him and went to the place God had told him. What is the parallel? Abraham offered up Isaac as a burnt offering. Similarly, God the Father offered Yeshua as a burnt offering. Isaac was the “promised son” of Abraham, the miracle baby who was given to Abraham and Sarah in their old age. Similarly, Yeshua is the “promised son” of the Father. Isaac was the “beloved” son of Abraham. Similarly, Yeshua is the “beloved” son of the father. Isaac carried his “stake” (the wood) upon his shoulder (Genesis 22:6). Similarly, Yeshua carried his “execution stake” upon his shoulder (John 19:16-17). Abraham believed that God would resurrect Isaac. Similarly, God th

Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 8 ~ The Afternoon Lamb Sacrifice
29/01/2020 Duración: 25minThe ministry of Elijah precedes the coming of the Messiah. Zacharias was told that his son, John, would be of the spirit and power of Elijah. The ministry of Elijah is a ministry to turn the hearts of the people of the God of Israel to the Torah and to prepare Israel for the end of the exile and the coming of the Messiah. John the Baptist was born at Passover. According to tradition, the Jews expect Elijah to be revealed at Passover season. In the Temple service there was a fourth drawing of lot for various duties. After the morning Temple service was concluded, next came the minchah and drink offerings. Trumpets were blown and Levites sang with the drink offerings. Public offerings were brought between the two lamb offerings. The evening lamb sacrifice was at 3pm. The sacrifice took one hour and during this time. prayers were said in the temple. When Yeshua died at 3pm (when the second tamid lamb was slaughtered in the Temple) Psalm 118 was being recited: The stone which the builders refused is beco

Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 7 ~ An Angel Appeared at the Incense Altar
29/01/2020 Duración: 25minIn this section of the teaching, we will continue looking at the daily Temple service as it relates to the daily tamid lamb offering. We will see that a third lot was drawn to select the priest who would burn incense at the incense altar. We will see that this is the setting in Luke 1 where Zecharias, the father of John the Baptist, was selected to burn the incense at the altar of incense. These prayers included personal prayers as well as the traditional standing prayer known as the Amidah. While Zecharias was burning the incense at the altar and offering up prayers to the God of Israel, something very special happened: There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the a

Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 6 ~ The Stoning and Hanging of Yeshua
28/01/2020 Duración: 25minIn this teaching segment, we will continue to see the various ways that when Yeshua died on the tree, he fulfilled the requirements of the daily tamid lamb offering. One of the places where the lambs destined to be a tamid offering were raised is the same place where it is expected that the Messiah would reveal himself. How is this so? Migdal Eder was the place where daily tamid lambs were raised. Similarly, the Messiah is to be revealed from Midgal Eder: And you, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem. Micah 4:8 The daily lamb is then taken to the slaughter house. The slaughter house for Yeshua was Golgotha (John 19:17, 20). The Jews were looking to stone Yeshua for blasphemy and idolatry: Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.” The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?” John 11:7-8 Acco

Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 5 ~ Morning Temple Service and the Tamid Lamb Sacrifice
28/01/2020 Duración: 25minWe continue looking at the various activities surrounding the morning and the afternoon tamid lamb offering in the Temple. In doing so, we will see how it relates to and prophesies and parallels the events that happened to Yeshua when he died on the tree. In preparation for the morning tamid lamb offering, the priest would put new wood on the altar every morning (Lev 6:9, 12). The wood was added to both the sacrifice altar and the incense altar. There was then a second drawing of lots to determine who would slaughter the lamb. At cockcrow (dawn) word is given to prepare for the daily tamid lamb sacrifice. There was a declaration of the start of the daily morning service. In parallel to the Temple service, is was a cockcrow (dawn) that Yeshua was taken to Pilate (Mark 15:1). Early in the morning, the great gate of the Temple is opened. Three silver trumpet blasts are then sounded. A lamb is brought from the chamber of lambs. The chosen priest then inspects and declares if the daily lamb is fit. Similarly,
