This week Anime Pulse talks about Japan approving a dreaded Anti-Piracy law, top Shoujo anime, and the best girl wining. Up first IRL news gets Joseph talking about the new FGO event, and Andrew questions our manliness in his community topic for the week. Afterwards come the industry news with ufotable dodging taxes, a scary revisit to KyoAni-like threats, and a brand spanking new Ghibli film is on the way. Let's hope it's better than the last. Lastly the reviews see us out with Joseph switching his bet for best girl, and Andrew (not) solving crimes with a (not) NEET.

A very late arrest, chaotic anime, and pizza. These topics and more are on this weeks episode of Anime Pulse. Up first IRL news gets Joseph playing gravedigger for some robin eggs, and Andrew makes us all hungry for some delicious, hot, cheesy, pizza. Then industry news rolls on through with Japan lifting their lockdown, and that arsonist behind the burning of Kyoto Animation gets put in cuffs at last. Lastly reviews have Joseph going back to school with some demons, and Andrew reveals an anime that shares the same universe as Steins;Gate.

Pirates live to steal another day, social drinking, and horse girls. Up first is the IRL news were Joseph is sipping tiki mai tai while relaxing at home, and Andrew is also sipping on some beverage of choice while asking a pretty hard hitting question. Afterwards the guys switch places and make an Andrew sandwich in the industry news, as Joseph sheds a tear for his paper childhood and Andrew suits up in his new Sardine Mech. Finally the reviews wrap things up with Joseph setting fire to a white fedora, while Andrew hops aboard a horse girl who is not a centaur.

There’s been a revival of the vigilante on a revenge quest movies lately which means it must be time to review one of the movies that kicked off the trend. Death Wish is the the book that the movie inherited its title from. And like True Grit before, it also garnered a remake. The original and remake stay close to the theme of the everyday man sent on a path of retribution against criminals. Delayed food shows, suplexing princesses, and Aniplex being sorry but not sorry. These topics and more can be found in this weeks episode of Anime Pulse. Up first is IRL news as Joseph reveals how wearing his Hollow Ichigo mask in public went, and Andrew once again asks a question he can't really answer; this time about your favorite elves. Then the industry news gets at us with Aniplex apologizing for the COVID-19 translation BS, and Shokugeki no Soma's 3rd episode is delayed till June. Lastly the reviews take us out with Joseph booing a bad hero out of the wrestling ring, and Andrew climbs into a mech to fight a terrorist organization.

Months later and he still hasn’t written a fucking thing. Makes you wonder how he finished all the manuscripts that nobody will ever read.

Apparently it’s just too much trouble. Maybe I’ll have to just make some shit up. Today we talk about fairies and toads. A movie I just invented in my head.

Well the previews might be over, but the shelter in place remains. That's right we're back to reviews this week, as Joseph and Andrew give you some ideas what to watch while you're stuck at home. First up IRL news has Josep trashing the main storyline of Borderlands 3, and Andrew questions who the worse anime protagonists are. Then in industry news we see the completion of the demon on KyoAni's studio, a new North Korean spawned meme, and COVIDs reach extending beyond its anticipated length. And finally come the reviews as Joseph carefully takes his time in killing a slime, and Andrew becomes a giant hero with come thicc things.

It's the final episode of previews for this spring 2020 season, but that doesn't mean the guys will leave you with some cold leftovers. We got IRL news in first with Joseph getting ready to start his PC build for real, and Andrew is interested in learning when and where you watch your anime. He totally is not selling this information to an analytical algorithm in exchange for bitcoins. Afterwards the industry news has YouTube playing the Eva Rebuild movies for free, Funimation being shit again, and Japan suspending EMS services to the US. And lastly the previews this week gets Joseph to transforms into a mascot character while trying to get a girl to confess to him, and Andrew transforms into a furry to drive a car across America.

Boy, sure is getting sparse this season. No? Well delayed anime or not the Anime Pulse guys keep the spirits high, previewing more anime from what is left of the Spring 2020 season. First up IRL news gets Joseph hyping himself up for a mid-life crisis computer build, and Andrew is disappoint in anime. Yes, that was an altered meme. Afterwards comes industry news which is over rather quickly, with a Jump magazine looking for horny isekai and more delays in the anime world. And lastly come the previews as Joseph climbs a tower to be the next top chef, and Andrew gets reborn in another world to date guys while recovering from amnesia.

Can COVID keep a good anime down? Well it can certainly delay them, but that's neither here nor there as the Anime Pulse crew jumps into a new season of anime. First up through IRL news gets us going with Joseph becoming even more annoyed with Borderlands 3, and Andrew is getting musical on us. Afterwards the industry news comes at us with COVID-19 delays, and Kimetsu no Yaiba's movie being given a totally rock solid release date. And at last we've made it into the spring season once again with Joseph trying to hide the fact from his daughter that he's been isekai'd, and Andrew goes fishing with lolis and a raven.
