Who knew at the beginning of 2016 that Clint Eastwood's 'Sully' would be more divisive that Zack Snyder's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' In one of the more passionate debates, EJ and Matt dissect Eastwood's vision, and the age gap between the two hosts is paramount to the discussion. Also is this episode, the super fan of the week has a new challenger, and 'Fear the Walking Dead' gets better and better in the second half of season two. Will Travis kill his son Chris, or will the Greek tragedy play out in reverse with the son killing his father to complete his journey/transition into to this new apocalyptic world?

Animated films involving talking animals usually have insane plots when you put them down on paper, but it is this over the top creativeness that makes them endearing. “Hey, it’s a movie about storks, and they deliver packages. Actor turned writer, Taylor Sheridan called into to talk about his latest film "Hell or High Water' starring Ben Foster, Chris Pine, and Jeff Bridges. The writer went through the process of script writing, talked about America's love affair with the outlaw, and how to avoid the pitfalls of a sequel. Sheridan also wrote 'Sicario' from 2015. Sheridan wouldn't say no, but thinks writing a script for Marvel or DC Comics wouldn't be a good fit. 'Hell or High Water' is in theaters now.

Mike Ayley the bass guitarist of the Canadain pop rock band Marianas Trench called the Monkeys Fighting Robots hotline to talk with Matt Sardo about the band's SPF 80s tour that kicked off this week and how to survive in a band for 13 years. Any band that likes 'The Goonies' has to be pretty entertaining. Marianas Trench's latest album Astoria comes from Astoria, Oregon, the hometown of 'The Goonies.' The band also has a talent for over-the-top, pop culture referencing music videos.
