Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar talked with Matthew Sardo about his new book Yes, My Accent Is Real, the conversation led to a dialogue about how celebrity culture has changed society and how Nayyar hopes to inspire one person to quit their job and follow their dream. Nayyar mentioned that celebrity status has a double edged sword. “I feel that movie actors or TV actors used to be celebrated and now everyone is waiting for us to make a mistake so they can pounce on us. So they can write so funny piece in TMZ or watch us say something a hundred times on YouTube,” said Nayyar. Nayyar hopes that people realize that everyone’s journey is human. “There is no one way to get what you want to get. I really hope that someone reads this book and is sitting and their office and has always dreamt about doing something and quit and do it,” said Nayyar. Actor Anthony Ingruber called in to talk about his experience working on 'Age of Adaline.' The young actor earned the role in the film because of his uncanny resemblance to Harrison Ford, and his Youtube impression from 2008. The director of 'Age of Adaline,' Lee Toland Krieger, reached out to Ingruber after watching the impersonation. The video in question currently sits at half a million views and and has cultivated a loyal and vocal fanbase for Ingruber. “It was such a crazy turn of events that the director of 'Age of Adaline,' Lee Toland Krieger stumbled upon my Youtube videos, in particular being the Harrison Ford one of course. After a Skype chat with him and a live audition, he offered me the part. It was an interesting day to have WWE Super Star Daniel Bryan phone in to promote his book "YES!: My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania." The Internet exploded just hours before with reports of a Hulk Hogan racial tirade and his complete removal from the WWE. Bryan, just finding out about Hogan situation during the interview is surprised but had no comment. He did discuss his injury and that he hasn't been cleared to wrestle by the doctors at the WWE.
