Sinopsis
This podcast is the perfect way to get back to that easy conversation flowing between friends over a cup of coffee; those conversations and interactions with friends that came so frequently and easily in college but the daily grind of "grown-up" life has drowned out. Let's be silly and yet purposeful as we chat about subjects such as relationships, crafting, health, and more with the intention of bringing God into everything. Whether its cooking, working, or decorating your living room, we believe God can be a part of it. Hosted by the Morrison sisters, you are invited to journey with us as we attempt to learn from Him in every part of daily life to be the women He created us to be; grounded in grace.

The Baby Mamas of the Christmas Story
12/12/2016 Duración: 20minFor the month of December, we have decided to do a little something special. In 1st John, John calls his readers to “Behold what manner of Love the Father has given unto us, that we should be called children of God.” It’s like John has received a glimpse at God’s amazing love and can’t describe it, so he calls us to behold it as well as if it can only be witnessed first hand. Alyssa and I have decided that is going to be our focus this December in leading up to God’s great gift to us in sending us Jesus. We will be opening up his word and looking into different parts of the Christmas story with a focus on His love for us. In this two part episode, we open up Luke chapter 1 and work through the experiences of two cousins, Mary and Elizabeth and the amazing part they were able to play in the coming of God's son Jesus. Disclaimer for those of you who actually will read this: I asked our brother Tyler to write a little piano jingle for us to use for this series, while it didn't work for what I wanted, it fit

Katie's here! part 2
29/11/2016 Duración: 18minIn part 2 of our conversation Lawren and Katie also divulge a legend they believe to be completely true and we talk about our secret to getting along as a family. Sources mentioned: Tyler Morrison's music ministry (our brother is an amazing musician and we are only slightly biased.) Click link to learn more and support him. Megladon! This link will bring you to the short stories about this but we encourage you to watch the full episode! Lawren has watched it 3 times! While it may or may not be true, it's certainly fun and entertaining to think about, and hey, the ocean is a big, vast, highly mysterious place that could be hiding a massive shark :) Couldn't it? Shark fishing picture of Katie: Melaleuca product: "No Work" shower cleaning spray (and no, we don't get any money for recommending this but if someone wants to...we wouldn't be opposed)

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Fall!
27/11/2016 Duración: 23minDownload What midwest transports have to do to accomplish the "autumn" feeling living in California and what I miss the most. I don't cook much. Alyssa's the cook, so in this episode I ask her for suggestions on good recipes to bring to holiday dinners. As a frequent traveler, I share some fun, easy ideas for hostess gifts to show gratitude for those who have you to their home for the holidays. Alyssa's mother-in-law, Sheri's hosting quote: "I'm not talking about cooking as performance or entertaining as a complicated choreography of competition and showing off. I'm talking about feeding someone with honesty and intimacy and love, about making your home a place where people are fiercely protected, even if just for a few hours, from the crush and cruelty of the day." Our very first episode
27/11/2016 Duración: 28minDownload "And I love that when He plants us somewhere, it's not haphazardly wherever, He plants us near the water where we are going to be fed and have everything that we need to grow to what He intends for us to be." ~Alyssa Our very first podcast! As we explore this podcasting world, Alyssa and I are attempting different formats for our podcasts. In our first one, we decided to illustrate the theme of our podcast title by getting into a chapter in the Bible that illustrates being "grounded." Listen along as we share with each other the powerful points that stood out to us in this chapter. A couple things we get into: Being cautious about what situations we put ourselves in; how strange it is to 'delight' in His law; how Alyssa's mother-in-law cries when her plants die; and a little about bearing fruit and being planted by the great Gardener Himself. Concluding, we find that while the world tells us to 'follow our heart,' Scripture shows that being grounded in truth gives a more abundant and fruitful life.
