The show starts with the boys lamenting over working on the C4 Corvette. Gasket material choices and brake bleeding techniques get touched onbefore Ray asks how to best ship a car bumper. Another radio station host calls and asks about her Fiat 500 armrest problem, then the topic of who designed automotive badge fonts puts the show to rest.

The guys start the show talking about the latest shop project Ray isinvolved with, a C4 Corvette overhaul. Finding replacement chassis parts and the value of Ray's contact list is covered, as well as Chris' time with his C4. The show turns into "MOPAR-Mouth Radio" when Mark Worman from Graveyard Carz comes on to talk about his upcoming projects & movie trivia with the guys.

The boys recap last year's show and celebrate the 21st anniversary of its tenure on WHPC. Memorable moments and prophecies found in a car magazine from 1978 find us talking about the safety of air bags & the advent of catalytic converters. Driving old vs new cars gets some air time, as does the pesky speed sensor replacementon Chris' Tracker.

The show kicks off with a tire pressure rant, but a quick recovery follows. Being the last show of the year finds the boys talking with an old friend and perennial great source of automotive knowledge, Carl Anthony from Automoblog.net. The boys cover current trends with EV's, hybrid's and even their old nemesis, the autonomous car.

The boys talk with Tom Sarmento, lead mechanic from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show about his new book titled "The Man Behind the General." If you're a fan of the show and have wondered how they managed to always have a camera-ready Charger available to shoot,this is the book for you. You'll also learn some interesting personal facts about Tom as well as some cool TV trivia.

Ray celebrates his induction into the "Do Nothing Club" then fawns over the new Matco brake flaring tool he received from MatcoMan Brian. Dan Short from the very popular TV show Fantomworks calls in to discuss his new media ventures, including his homesteading involvement. Auto parts availability & quality are also kicked around this hour.

Do falsely advertised car ads on social media and the web annoy you as much as they do Chris? If so you'll love his recent rant. The boys talk about the new de-soldering tool Ray bought for audio projects and the crows foot wrenches Chris treated himself to. Fiat window repair and a fuse-blowing Buick heater switch round out the hour.

Extended oil change intervals kicks this show off, and if you're familiar with our train of thought you'll know that the spare tire cover rant that followed was totally normal. Ray's chore of moving the shop's NASCAR proved to be interesting to say the least, and Chris learned that his Tracker transmission may need help. Buick timing chain stretch diagnosis closed out this hour of fun.

This week we find Chris doing battle with car batteries, and he finally finds one that gets his Explorer to pass a state inspection. Chalk one up in the win column when the Chinese shift solenoids Chris bought for his Tracker have (so far) solved his 1-2 shift problem. Ray talks about working with a friend installing axles & bearings in a B-body Chrysler, and getting out of a tough jam in the shop.

Louis Lee from the Thursday night Playing N Traffic show calls in to give his report from the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Last year was a bust but this event showed the industry off in fine fashion. Jeepin Al called in his report from Ocala FL. from the Don Garlits museum's 35th anniversary event. A caller's EVAP code, Chris' Tracker shift solenoids and his sticky Chrysler voltage regulator are also topics this week.

New tools are always falling into our orbit, and this week we had Clint Rhodes from HandeeClamp.com on the show to talk about his innovative holding tool. Just to keep the boys on the straight and narrow, MatcoMan Brian joined the fray to add his expert advice and thoughts on the issue. Chris' Holley carburetor woes and Ray's most dangerous notebook were also talked about on this show.

The boys have Bill Wandalowski & Tom Sarmento on the show today to talk about Tom's book titled "The Man Behind the General" as in The General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. Also covered are crappy OEM plastic engine parts Ray has to deal with, and an EGR valve that just may have fixed the idle problem in Chris' Tracker.

Chris starts off with a rant about "altered cars for sale online" and the only thing that can cool him off is a caller's story about a repair being made to a home car lift. Ray talks about working on a Moped and the familiar scent of varnished fuel, then tells how he met closet show listeners at his recent school reunion. Fuel line volume calculations, Smokey Yunick and Chris' Tracker vacuum leak test procedures round out the hour.

This week the boys talk about storm damaged collector cars in Florida, and the crap shoot repair Ray made to the radio in his families station car. Chris followed up with some similar electronic repairs he's made in the past. Show friend and Pro-Mod racer Dina Parise joins the show and talks about what else... Italian food and racing! When you go fast you have to be safe, so we all get on a serious note and cover safety issues associated with fast cars and motorcycles & hope people will get the message.

The slowly closing car show season has the boys talking about ceramic paint coatings as well as how car guys have typically low expectations. We compare the care and feeding of older vs newer paint work as well as some of the car show etiquette we've seen, good and bad. Funny sunroof accidents, the hunt for Chris' power steering switch, and a caller's Infinity disturbing distributor trouble code round out the hour.

Long time friends of the show join the boys to talk about their upcoming car show. Elliott Weiner from the L.I. Thunderbird Club & Dennis Benfante from the T-Bird Owners of N.Y. explain why they joined forces to create an event to be remembered. Two possible new MMR curses are brought up by Ray, and rare Fords found at car shows piques the conversation. The mystical science behind car show judging is only bested by how the new MMR promo was made, and carburetor tuning joins the black science ranks over fuel injection.

Ray & Joe field questions about a faulty fuel pump and a callers carburetor issues. The indie movie titled "cruise" depicting car life on the iconic Francis Lewis Boulevard takes the boys down memory lane. Renowned pinstripe artist Gary "The Local Brush" sits in to talk about his life in the car and art worlds, and show host Billy G. encapsulates the history of the car show which dates back to 1958.

This week the boys stand behind the mantra that "they fix everything" when Ray recountsa story about getting his non-working clothes dryer back in service. This leads to talk about sound diagnostic practices and how working on cars prepared them to tackle almost any mechanical task. Chris marvels at the ease of setup and operation of the QuickJack Ray just bought, which leads to a caller who knows more about the body than we do talking about "unsupported forward flexion". We cap it off with another home repair story where the Inductor Tool was used.

Ray screeches in from a local cars & coffee event and immediately talks about how closet listeners can put a host to the test, and vise versa. Replacing a lift cylinder on a flatbed truck at the shop had us calling in "special forces" to cut it free with the venerable "flame-tip wrench". Hydraulic cylinder maladies must be contagious, because a caller relates a story about a home lift with a leaky cylinder to the boys. Chris segues into how his Chinese fuel injectors also leaked, leading him to replace them with quality Bosch products. EV batteries and charge parameters gets a caller all charged up to end the show.

Chris laments over his check engine lights while Ray has a victory with a weird headlight failure in his Fiat that came down to a faulty connection (check our social media pages for the pictures). Carl Anthony from Automoblog.net comes on and talks about the new E-Charger & Challenger from Chrysler as well as the future of E-vehicles. Callers add to the conversation and cite problems from power grid strength to the cost of electricity as factors to worry about.
