As we reach this spectacular time of the year again, we will hear the word THANKSGIVING over and over again. We will see it on billboards, hear it in songs, utter it at the dinner table and on and on. What does the Bible have to say about giving thanks? Quite a lot actually. All the way from the book of Leviticus through Revelation we will see the word "Thanksgiving" in the scriptures.

As we study the scriptures from the Old Covenant to the New, there is a repeated cry from heaven as to what our Father has always desired of His people. Jesus, who is the representation of the Father, said it in this way: The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart. While we know this to be true, what does it really mean? How do we live this out in the business of life? What are some examples of this in Bible times, as well as, in 2015? Today, we will explore this topic by looking at the lives of men who did not fully go after the Lord, such as Saul and Solomon. And we will look at those who modeled it so beautifully, such as David, Paul, and Jesus himself.

For we are God's own handiwork (His workmanship) recreated in Christ Jesus, (born anew) that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us (taking paths which He prepared ahead of time) that we should walk in them.

The Lord wants to bring us greater freedom from things that hold us back........some of us it is just our mind sets that Christianity is going to a building on a single day. But He wants you to seek a personal relationship with Him in such a way that sometimes you come to prayer with only the delight in loving Him FIRST, and to be ON FIRE FOR HIM. Jesus shed His blood to pay for your freedom from whatever is holding you back. His forgiveness is an invitation to drop it all and walk with Him free from your past

Have you ever stopped to consider how different your life would be if you lived your life knowing you were created to thrive in the Kingdom...on Earth? Knowing we have been created to succeed can make all the difference.

In 1 Kings 18 Elijah is told to confront Ahab not with a rebuke or a word of judgement but a word to announce the rain is coming. This is a sign of awakening and revival in the land. In that time of famine God had hidden prophets being fed bread and water and others being prepared to take on the current wicked system. sorry no video this time

This morning we are going to take a look at the lives of some people who found themselves in some very bad situations in just "The Blink of an Eye!" One's life can be turned upside down in the matter of just seconds. What would Eve, King David, Judas Iscariot and others in the Bible have done differently had they realized how quickly life could change because of a wrong choice? Song of Songs 2:15 proclaims, "Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes." Many times we find that it's those small moments of life where we have chosen to walk outside of the leading and counsel of God and where ultimately we find ourselves moving in a very wrong direction. Today let's examine our lives and make sure there are no "small" issues present, which could change life for us in "The Blink of an Eye!"

Today we want to look at different ways that we can remain in peace, even though tribulation comes. Jesus made it available to us and wants us to have it because He overcame the world FOR us.

I believe that the Lord is going to release in our midst Kingdom transformation that will align us even more with, and in, His government on Earth as it is in Heaven.

In weeks past, we have been looking at how we can partner with God in this new Resurrected Life that we have been thrust into by our Glorious Abba. Each day , we strengthen our partnership by making sure that we walk out wise decisions by doing the right thing.

As we begin to conclude our sermon series, "Living the Resurrected Life," we want to recognize and understand God's perspective when we encounter seemingly impossible situations in our lives. In Mark 10:27, Jesus very clearly shows the way man perceives life is very different from the way God does.
