Tokyo Lives: A Giant Monsters Podcast

This week the Tokyo Lives crew tackle a Toho film that none of them have seen! Listen as they all travel to an island to check out the construction of a new hotel that may be under the assault of some Giant Creatures. There are also rumors of a blue glittery mist like blob on the island so watch out!

Time to get silly and summon Megalon from the great kingdom of Seatopia. Only Jet Jaguar and Godzilla can stop this mighty insectoid from destroying everything. The Tokyo Lives crew join the battle and our heroes help break the laws of physics to fend off Megalon. Oh also Gigan is there too.

Three creatures are mutated by a pathogen to grow to gigantic sizes and run rampant across America. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is the only one standing in their way in this bombastic action film and the Tokyo Lives crew are here to watch and see if it's any good.

This week we take a look at one of the classic Tokusatsu shows that influenced a bunch of things around the world. Although he may not be as recognizable as Ultraman, Flying Robot is extremely important to the history of Giant Monster films.

Ten years after the apocalypse was cancelled, the Kaiju make their big return to fight a group of new recruits. Is this movie as good as the first? Can our intrepid heroes re-cancel the apocalypse?! Find out this time on Tokyo Lives!
