We'll hear from participants, volunteers and AMI-audio hosts Mike Ross, Norma Wick and The Neutral Zone's Brock Richardson. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics. The organization provides sports training and athletic competition year-round in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This gives them the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Host Dave Brown broadcasts live from Spectrum Productions’ gala-screening of films by youth on the autism spectrum, who attended Spectrum’s 2018 summer camps. He interviews six filmmakers, and presents highlights of speeches from the stage. At last year’s fundraiser, over 650 guests helped Spectrum Productions raise $55,000 with all proceeds going towards supporting Spectrum’s unique programming.
