Its our desire that you know God personally, and we would love to help you develop that relationshipone step at a time.As a growing and expanding spiritual community committed to helping people take a step in the right direction towards reaching their ultimate redemptive potential and purpose, we want to introduce people to God and help them develop a personal relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We desire to reach people with the message that God loves them and that a relationship with Him will transform their lives, enabling them to develop healthy, nurturing relationships with others. Financially
10/03/2019February 3 - March 10 Picture this: you’re having an argument with someone, and you’re experiencing some conflict in your relationship. When it’s all done, you ask: Are we good? In other words, is everything good between us? Are you good with me? Is the relationship still good? Hopefully, the answer is yes. But, are we really good? In every part of our lives? How are we really doing? Like, with our time – are we managing it well or is there not enough margin? Or our emotions – are we stable, or struggling with anger or fear or anxiety? And our relationships – are they strong and healthy or volatile and toxic? What about morals – are we doing what is right or just what we like? And even our mental health – are we in a good place or losing the battle? So… are we good? We believe you can experience health and wholeness in every area of your life. Would you like to? Isn’t it time that you did?

Embracing God in the Valley
27/01/2019When life hits hard, it plunges us into a sea of questions we hoped we’d never have to ask. “Why did this happen? Why me? How can I get through this? What do I do?” We don’t understand why hardship, tragedy or injustice happens. And we may not know what we can or should do. We have some good news for you! When you feel broken or abandoned, and you’re struggling to find answers, there’s a beacon in the storm. When you’re lost in the dark, overwhelmed by grief, or wrestling with questions you don’t understand, you can take heart. When you feel like the depth of your pain can’t plunge any further, you don’t have to stay there, and you don’t have to try and pull yourself out of it alone. God wants you to know that He is still good when life is not. He wants to show you that He is good. He wants to lift you up and help you stand firm no matter what life brings.

Rest Assured
06/01/2019January 6 A new year brings with it the possibility for a fresh start, whether it’s losing weight or getting out of debt or accomplishing something you’ve never done. We all have hopes, dreams and desires, but we also have uncertainty, skepticism and distrust. We desperately need assurance. Assurance that there is still hope, that we can still have faith. Assurance that the future can be better than the past. And we can’t just decide what’s true – we need to hear it from someone. When something happens that threatens our assurance, there’s nothing quite like hearing the words “rest assured”. It builds trust, it inspires confidence, it brings assurance that something good will happen. It helps us believe again. So, it’s a new year. Maybe you could use a fresh start. Maybe you would like your hope, your trust, your faith restored. Rest assured: they can be!

Jesus is Here
24/12/2018It’s December, and you know what that means … Christmas time is here ... and it's coming, whether we want it to or not! Christmas is the time of happiness and cheer, snowflakes and sleigh bells, gatherings and gifts. It’s a time when people can feel serenity, kindness and generosity, more than any other time of year. But whether it’s from that family gathering you’re dreading, or the loss of that loved one, or the silence of the room when no one else is there, Christmas is also a time when we can feel stress or conflict, sadness or loneliness. We may wonder why we should have Christmas at all. So, let’s go back to when it all started. At a significant point in history, God entered our world in an unprecedented way. And all at once, there was love for loneliness, hope for despair, peace for conflict, and joy for sorrow. Maybe you could use some of those gifts this Christmas. We invite you to Gateway Church on Sundays in December, as well as Christmas Eve, to hear all about these amazing gifts.

Know Forgiveness
25/11/2018November 18 & 25 Remember when you were a kid, and one of your friends would say, “Know what?” You were immediately interested, so you'd reply, “What?” Then your friend would tell you something amazing, something juicy, something life-changing. Those words weren't used for something insignificant or trivial or uninteresting. So… know what? Even though there is fear and uncertainty in our world, you can know confidence and security. Know what? Even though life can be busy and hectic and stressful, you can know peace and harmony. Know what? Even though you may wonder if life and existence actually have meaning, you can know purpose and significance. Know what? Even though you’re not sure what to believe or who you can trust, you can know faith again. Know what? Even though you may have hurt others or been hurt by others, you can know forgiveness. In this 2-part series, you can find out what you can know!

Making Sense of Our Cents
04/11/2018In some government buildings, you will see the words “In God We Trust” on the wall. You can also see it printed on some currencies. We associate authority, power and money with trust. Trust means to place your hope, confidence and dependence on someone else, that they will give care, protection and responsibility to whatever you’ve entrusted to them. Today in our culture we struggle with trust. It’s hard to trust authorities and those in power when we see some misusing our trust or betraying our trust. It’s hard to trust others with our money when we work hard for it, and the market becomes more uncertain. So, what about trusting God? We probably struggle with that too. How are things for you financially? Are you in too much debt? Are you barely making ends meet? Are you saving for the future? Are you investing in what really matters? Are you making a difference in the world around you? It all comes down to trust.
