In today's penultimate issue of X-Men + Fantastic Four, the stakes are upped once again!  Well, sorta. We're going to talk a lot about how the X-Men are being portrayed here... and any time they're pitted against, or sharing panel-space with, any other Marvel heroes.  Your humble host tires of seeing his favorite folks "jobbed out" and made to look lesser-than every Marvel character from Willie Lumpkin on up! Welcome friends, to a whole new series - and part of the "New Fall Season" here at the channel. Longtime Legion-denier, Chris (@acecomics) looks to right the wrong of keeping DC's future-teen-heroes as a deliberate blind-spot in his comics knowledge... and to do so, he's found himself a friend to help him navigate this twisting and storied franchise.  Lifelong Legion fan, Al Sedano (@AdamThanosPod) has graciously agreed to educate and guide me to... maybe eventual Legion-relevance... or, at least maybe being able to identify a dozen or so of these characters on sight! Keeping with our coverage of X-Men + Fantastic Four - this time out, Reed and the Gang are Krakoa-bound looking for their lost kids.  Only problem is, they ain't there!  Instead, they're out on an island somewhere with Uncle Doom and (Aunt?) Today we begin the story I've been looking forward to since we first saw the tense confrontation between Reed Richards and Scott Summers way back in House of X #1 (Episode 001 of this very program)!  Today we bear witness to the skirmish over "The Impossible Boy", the recently-rapidly-aged, Franklin Richards! An Omega Level Mutant, Franklin would definitely be an asset for the growing mutant nation of Krakoa... there are just four things standing in the way. Also, our boy Franklin's powers are depleting with each use... wassupwitdat?  Hopefully we'll find out here!
