17 years ago, two lives were lost in a tragic holiday shooting in Tacoma, Washington. On November 28th, 2002, the paths of 19-year-old Kimberly Riley and 5-year-old Jeremy Britt-Bayinthavong would converge at a house in Tacoma's South End. In 2008, an unknown gunman would commit one of the few unsolved mass shootings in U.S. history. February 2nd of that year was a cold and blustery day in the region of Tinley Park, Illinois.
