After that, we had a chance to catch up with two of the best coaches in the state at the six-man coaching school and convention in Wichita Falls. 

We were out at the six-man coaching school and convention and caught up with a number of the game's dignitaries, including a pair of state champion head coaches. Then, the man behind the Texas High School Helmet Project joins us in-studio to talk about his original site, his passion for working on the helmets, and joining forces with DCTF last year.

Few games are talked about as often at DCTF headquarters as the 2013 title game between Fairfield and Argyle, and Larry Rose III is a huge part of the legend. We finally get a chance to talk with him today, six years later, and he's accomplished a heck of a lot since then. Before that, we run through a few big headlines around the state.

It's Friday in the offseason, so the show goes as far as the questions it gets – and we certainly got more than a few. Plus, we were out at the Six-Man Association Coaching School and Convention in Wichita Falls, and caught up with the head coach of the No. 1 ranked Jaybirds.
