On Prime Time Special Edition 189, begin the Aging Experiment on the La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Double Ligero Chisel Natural. With the “Aging Experiment” Series, Bear and Coop smoke a cigar, smoke another cigar six months later, and a third cigar one year later. The idea is to see how the cigar responds to aging over a period of time. Today we are in the second leg of this experiment at the 6-8 month ppoint. With the Chisel, this is iconic and signature size in the LFD portfolio and one that has special meaning to co-host Bear Duplisea. Plus we will have our Artesano de Tobacco Under the Sea, Espinosa This Day in Sports History, and Altadis USA Great Things are Happening segments. In the spirit of Dave Burck from Jukebox, Coop and Bear will go through some “now or never” companies for PCA.

It's Prime Time Episode 370, and the first day of our 2026 Prime Time Virtual Trade Expo. This is the seventh year in a row we have run this. The concept is straightforward. On Prime Time Jukebox Episode 184, this is a show on Cigars for Bands. Last year, Pete Johnson introduced a cigar line for his musical friend Sextooth. It got us thinking, what cigars that other companies could make for other artists. In this fantasy scenario, Dave and Coop present their selections for who would make cigars for what artists. In this episode, Dave smokes the Crowned Heads Thunder Kiss while Coop smokes the Villiger 1888 Gran Reserva Toro. Last year at the 2025 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans, Perdomo introduced their newest cigar line, Perdomo Legacy. The Legacy was created by Nicholas Perdomo III for his father, Nick Perdomo Jr, for his 60th birthday. What is so unique about this cigar is the use of a special shade grown tobacco that was cultivated in Perdomo’s Finca Natalie farm in Estelí, Nicaragua. It was developed from a hybrid seed by combining proprietary Cameroon and Cuban tobacco seeds from Perdomo. This tobacco is used as the wrapper for this cigar, but it is also used on the Maduro and Connecticut cigars in the Legacy line as the binder. Coop as reviewed this cigar here, and it was also awarded the 2025 Cigar Coop Cigar of the Year.

On Prime Time Episode 369, we have the second installment of our four-part 2026 PCA Pre-Game Series with Media Panel 23. Tonight, we will have our annual panel discussion regarding PCA. Altadis USA just released its newest line, an extension of the Romeo y Julieta line called the Reserva Real Nicaragua Profundo. This new cigar is a collaboration between AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal, rolled at AJ Fernandez’s factory in Nicaragua (though which one is not disclosed), from tobacco grown on his farm. The cigar features an “extra-fermentated” Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Retail on the robusto is $11.25. On the Smoking Syndicate Roundtable 23, the Cigar Coop Coalition tackles the Ceniza Fina Connecticut Toro. The Connecticut is the second blend from Ceniza Fina. Ceniza Fina, a new brand created by Sam and Rosie Lopez of Fine Ash Cigars, is getting set to launch. The new cigar line is being produced at Hostos Fernandez Quesada‘s Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic. The name Ceniza Fina is Spanish for Fine Ash.

On Prime Time Jukebox Episode 182, we look at the nominees for the 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class. This is a show that traces back to the beginnings of Prime Time Jukebox (Episode 1) After putting this show on hiatus, the 2026 class looked quite intriguing so we are bringing it back.
