On this week's show, we are going back and covering news items that have happened all throughout the Disney company, theme parks, and more during the months of June and July 2021. We normally do a look back at the new items for the month at the end of the month, but I have neglected to do a news show in a while, so we'll be going back and looking at new items that occurred like the announcement of Boo Bash in Walt Disney World, more restaurants and hotels opening back up, RunDisney in-person events announced to resume, and much more!

On this week's show, I welcome another great group of guests to join me in a roundtable discussion as we go over the details about Disney's recent announcement about Disney Genie, the new virtual planning offerings that will be available via app on your smartphone to help you navigate the parks and make the most of your vacations. We'll also talk about the new Genie+ and Lightning Lane offerings that are essentially replacing Fastpass for an additional fee in Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

For this week's show, I was inspired by one of our listeners who posted a comment in our Facebook group about having not been to a Disney theme park in many years and how he used Disney podcasts as a way to get the Disney experience he used to enjoy so much without having to visit the parks. I saw this post during my recent trip to WDW and decided to dedicate this show to him and everyone else who is just like him while also giving a trip report and some thoughts from my recent trip.

On this week's show, I'm joined by Janette Pellegrini to talk about her recent experience at Live at the New Am: A Benefit Concert for the Actors Fund on Broadway in New York City. The New Amsterdam Theater is currently home to Disney's Aladdin on Broadway and upon the re-opening of the theater after it shut down for over a year due to COVID, Disney on Broadway presented a 4-show run of Disney Broadway stars singing hits from Disney's Broadway shows like Frozen, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast to benefit The Actor's Fund, which has gone to award grants totaling over $22 million to support 16,000 entertainment professionals since the pandemic began.  Together, we'll talk about the event and the unbelievable Broadway talent and stars that were on hand to perform like Ashley Brown from Mary Poppins, Michael James Scott from Aladdin, Kissy Simons from The Lion King, and Josh Strickland from Tarzan.

On this week's show, I'm joined again by our Disney Conversation Starters panel for another riveting discussion about all things and anything Disney. Disney Conversation Starters were introduced several years ago on the Disney In Your Day blog and the author of that blog, Becky Ginther, joins me with 5 other All About the Mouse listeners as we use some of her Conversation Starters to talk about all things and anything Disney!

On this week's show, we continue our celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida with a look at The Florida Project. With the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World right around the corner on October 1st, I thought it would be nice to look back at the original idea for Walt's Florida theme park and his Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow or E.P.C.O.T. We'll look at Walt's idea for The Florida Project as it was originally presented to the world in the E.P.C.O.T film featuring Walt Disney himself. So sit back and relax as we go back to 1966 with the man and the mouse that started it all!

On this week's show, I'll reveal the winner of our Disney Soundtrack Madness bracket tournament that we started right here on the show back in March! I'll be joined by my special guests Bryce Yelverton and Sarah Evans to look again at all 32 soundtracks that competed in this tournament and the matchups that each of these soundtracks competed in along the way. In the end, we'll reveal the results in our final matchup between Mary Poppins and Aladdin.

This week's show is going to be a little bit different as we focus on some of the non-Disney aspects of vacation destinations in the great state of Florida. My wife, Amy, will join me again as we give a trip report from our recent Florida road trip that took us to the beach, Miami, the Universal Orlando resort, and much more!

We'll also look at other news items like details around the Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience coming to WDW, a look at Disney's "Cruella" that was released in theaters and Disney+, and much more!

On this week's show, I'm kicking the show off with a spoiler-free review of the newly release Disney film "Cruella". The film, released this past Friday in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access, is an origin story centered around Cruella de Vil from Disney's "101 Dalmations". I'll share my thoughts on the film without giving any of pertinent details of the plot away, for those of you who haven't seen it yet. Later, I'll reveal the results of Round 4 of Disney Soundtrack Madness, announce the final matchup, and feature some behind the scenes audio from each of the soundtracks in the final round.

On this week's show, I'm going to go over 50 fascinating details that often go unnoticed in the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts. The Imagineers are widely known for going out of their way to pay tremendous attention to detail when designing the theme parks, attractions, and resorts. Many of these details go unnoticed by the majority of guests visiting the parks, but they continue to maintain this level of attention to detail. This week, I'll talk about 50 of these types of details, which are just a few of a seemingly endless supply that you'll find in WDW.

My guests this week, Wallis and Leo, are a Disney couple who have plenty of experience in organizing their plans around the weather on their Disney trips, and this week they join me to talk about the top things to do at Disney in the rain.

On this week's show, we're recapping matchups and the results from Round 1 of Disney Soundtrack Madness, where we pitted 32 great Disney soundtracks against each other in a bracket-style tournament. Bryce Yelverton and Blake Reilly join me as we learn which soundtracks are going to proceed to the next round and to introduce the Round 2 matchups.
