This week we add to our discussion the concept of value. Each of us has been assigned an intrinsic value through the love the Trinity has for us. That value can never be destroyed, but our perception of that value can be hidden in darkness caused by bad introduction to of a virus – i.e., experiences, teachings, and other things that hide our true value. Using a computer programming analogy, we look closely at value and how we lose sight of it. Beginning with the first 10 verses of this chapter, we discussed Paul’s theology as stated in those verses: one God – the Father – who is over all, above all, through all, and in all; one Lord Jesus; one Spirit; one living faith; one grace – given to each of us in full measure according to the Anointed’ s gift; and one ceremonial washing through baptism. We then discussed “our calling” as advocated by Paul. Summary for 05-14-2023 –  Simply Jesus – Part 2Our life is a journey. We long to find peace, joy, and happiness. Often times our society, family, and outside influences urge us to seek out our longings with methods and means based upon our own efforts. Most of the time these efforts only produce frustration, a sense of loneliness, and many other negative feelings and emotions. Yet there is a way to satisfy our longings for peace, joy and happiness that is not based on our efforts. That way is to simply encounter Jesus.  The Trinity has designated Jesus as the Point Man and Spokesperson of the Godhead. In this week’s gathering we discuss the fact that only Jesus is perfect theology.
