Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, Secret Headquarters is the superhero film starring Owen Wilson and Walker Scobell - the latest Paramount+ Original. Charlie Kincaid (Walker Scobell) and his friends (Keith L. Williams, Momona Tamada, Abby James Witherspoon) discover the secret headquarters of the powerful superhero The Guard (Owen Wilson) hidden beneath his father’s home and must defend it when bad guys Ansel Argon (Michael Peña) and Sean Irons (Jesse Williams) show up attempting to steal The Guard’s tech.

Written, directed, and produced by Jordan Peele under his Monkeypaw Productions banner, Nope is the science fiction horror film starring Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun. Two siblings who run a California horse ranch discover something wonderful and sinister in the skies above, and the owner of an adjacent theme park tries to profit from the mysterious, otherworldly phenomenon.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, Prey is the science fiction horror action film based on the Predator franchise. It is the fifth instalment in the franchise and is a prequel to the first Predator film from 1987, being set in the Northern Great Plains in North America in 1719. The movie features an indigenous cast and makes history for being the first film dubbed in Comanche and the first time a film has premiered a Native language alongside the English version. Naru (Amber Midthunder), a fierce and highly skilled female warrior, has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary male hunters. When danger threatens her camp, Naru sets out into the Great Plains to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

Some serious trouble can be some serious fun! Directed by John Carpenter, Big Trouble in Little China is the fantasy martial arts action-comedy film starring Kurt Russell. Luke and Nathan take a trip back to 1986 to discuss all things related to the commercial failure but otherwise cult classic film. Kurt Russell plays hard-boiled truck driver Jack Burton, who gets caught in a bizarre conflict within, and underneath, San Francisco's Chinatown. An ancient Chinese prince and Chinatown crime lord has kidnapped a beautiful green-eyed woman, who is the fiancée to Jack's best friend (Dennis Dunn). Jack must help his friend rescue the girl before the evil Lo Pan (James Hong) uses her to break the ancient curse that keeps him a fleshless and immortal spirit.

Brains, brawn, and beyond! Directed by Mike Mitchell, Sky High is the superhero comedy film written by Paul Hernandez and the creators of Kim Possible. Luke and Jae head back to 2005 to revisit this live-action Walt Disney superpowered adventure. At a school in the sky where teens learn how to be superheroes, Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano) lands in a class for students who show special promise. Classmate Gwen (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) quickly cozies up to Will, but it's soon clear that she has other motives. When he learns that Gwen's mother is a villain who was defeated by his father, Steve Stronghold (Kurt Russell), Will realizes that Gwen is aiming for revenge, and he rushes to a school dance in the hope of stopping her.

A fire will rise as the Dark Knight returns! Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight Rises is the superhero film based on the DC Comics character Batman. It is the final installment in Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, and the sequel to The Dark Knight (2008). Luke and Nathan revist the epic conclusion to Nolan's trilogy, with the return of Christian Bale, Michael Caine, and Gary Oldman. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night. Assuming responsibility for the death of Harvey Dent, Batman sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon hoped would be the greater good. However, the arrival of a cunning cat burglar (Anne Hathaway) and a merciless terrorist named Bane (Tom Hardy) force Batman out of exile and into a battle he may not be able to win.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, The Gray man is the action thriller film based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney. Produced by the Russo brothers’ company, AGBO, it set to be the first film in a franchise based upon Greaney’s Gray Man novels. When the CIA’s top asset (his identity known to no one) uncovers agency secrets, he triggers a global hunt by assassins set loose by his ex-colleague.

The Tomorrowverse continues! Directed by Jeff Wamester, Green Lantern: Beware My Power is the animated superhero featuring the title character. Recently discharged Marine sniper John Stewart (Aldis Hodge) is at a crossroads in his life, one which is only complicated by receiving an extra-terrestrial ring which grants him the powers of the Green Lantern of Earth. Now, with the aid of the light-hearted Green Arrow, Adam Strange and Hawkgirl, this reluctant soldier must journey into the heart of a galactic Rann/Thanagar war and somehow succeed where all other Green Lanterns have failed.

Created by Bisha K. Ali for Disney+, Ms. Marvel is the comic book miniseries based on the Marvel Comics featuring the character Kamala Khan /Ms. Marvel. Luke and Jason check out the six episodes of the seventh television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios. Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a 16-year-old fangirl dof the Avengers, particularly Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, struggles to fit in until she gains her own powers.

It was San Diego Comic Con over the weekend which means there is many a things to talk about. We've got a full state of the MCU's Phase 5, as well as the announcement of two more Avengers movies coming. We try to work out how to say "RWBY", we are not invited to Adam Sandler's Bat Mitzvah, and Rob Zombie's The Munsters looks awful. Zack Snyder is set to return to DC, Star Trek is planning an epic crossover, and The Walking Dead movies are no more!

It took them almost twenty years but the zany and outright outlandish four-fingered yellow characters of The Simpsons finally got the silver screen treatment in 2007. Directed by the show’s supervising director David Silverman and starring the show’s regular cast, The Simpsons Movie is based on the longest-running animated sitcom – The Simpsons. 15 years ago, with CGI animation doing things we had never imagined could be done, The Simpsons Movie dared to be ugly – 2D, yellow, and on the big screen! The combination of Homer (Dan Castellaneta), his new pet pig, and a leaky silo of excrement triggers a disaster that threatens not just Springfield but the entire world after he irresponsibly pollutes the lake. In response, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), led by Russ Cargill (Albert Brooks) imprisons the town under a giant glass dome. With Springfield’s fate in the balance, Homer sets out on a quest for redemption in order to save his town and earn back his family’s forgiveness.

The adaption of the 2004 short story of the same name by Joe Hill is a scary flick with heart. Directed by Scott Derrickson, The Black Phone is the supernatural horror film starring Ethan Hawke. Finney (Mason Thames), a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.

Before the Netflix series, but after Dolph Lundgren's go, Thomas Jane was The Punisher. Directed by Jonathan Hensleigh, The Punisher is the vigilante action film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Luke and Jae revisit the 2004 film which starred Thomas Jane as the antihero, ex-FBI agent Frank Castle and John Travolta as Howard Saint. After Saint orders the murder of his entire family, Castle transforms into the vengeful Punisher. The Punisher is a heavily armed vigilante who will stop at nothing to exact revenge on Saint and dismantle his underworld empire.

Created for the streaming service Disney+, Obi-Wan Kenobi is the miniseries focused on the Star Wars character of the same name. Ewan McGregor reprises his role from the Star Wars prequel trilogy as the Star Wars franchise continues to expands. Luke and Jae check out the six episodes of this action-adventure, science fiction, space opera. Set ten years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), the series follows Kenobi as he sets out to rescue the kidnapped Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) from the Galactic Empire, leading to a confrontation with his former apprentice, Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen).

Directed by Mark Steven Johnson, Ghost Rider is the superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Luke and Jae take a ride back to 2007 to revisit this negatively reviewed box-office success of a film. Years ago, motorcycle stuntman Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) sold his soul to save the life of a loved one. Now, he transforms into a fiery, avenging agent of justice at night wherever evil roams. As the only one who can walk in both worlds, Johnny is charged by Mephistopheles (Peter Fonda) himself to destroy Blackheart (Wes Bentley), a demon that wants to overthrow Mephistopheles and create a worse hell than the one that currently exists.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder is the superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Thor, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Disney. This is the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Picking up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is on a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Buckle up! Directed by Simon West, Con Air is the action thriller film starring Nicholas Cage, John Cusack, and John Malkovich. Jason and Rob rewind to 1997 to check out this Jerry Bruckheimer produced addition to The Holy Trinity of Nicolas Cage (The Rock, Con Air, Face/Off). Just-paroled army ranger Cameron Poe (Nicolas Cage) is headed back to his wife (Monica Potter), but must fly home aboard a prison transport flight dubbed "Jailbird" with some of the worst criminals living. Along with Diamond Dog (Ving Rhames) and Baby-O (Mykelti Williamson), genius serial killer Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom (John Malkovich) unleashes a violent escape plot in mid-flight. Secretly working with U.S. Marshall Vince Larkin (John Cusack), Poe tries to foil Grissom's plan.
