On Episode 12 of the PRP Podcast, Grendel welcomes in fellow fatty food lover Rev from the band Success! The two sit down to an intimate conversation about being in a punk band from Seattle, touring with Nothington, and why Rev has chosen to become a vegan. Along the way, we learn that Rev has his own hot sauce (REV'S NORTHWEST HOT SAUCE...Many burritos were harmed during the making of it), that Grendel doesn't believe that Episodes 1 and 2 of Star Wars exist, and that the two of the are giant nerds who hang out at the Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas. In Episode 11 of PRP, Grendel continues to celebrate AMR15. Grendel sits down to have a conversation with Brendan Kelly of the Lawrence Arms. The two talk about the festival, reuniting with The Broadways and Slapstick, and the film that Brendan has made. In Episode 10 of PRP, in this first of an (at least) two part series, Grendel celebrates the AMR15 Festival that took place June 15-19 in San Francisco, CA. Along with playing music from some of the bands that performed, Grendel interviews Mike Park (of Skankin' Pickle, The Chinkees, and B. Lee Band and founder of Asian Man Records) and plays part of the set he recorded from I Sing the Body Electric (a.k.a. Morgan Herrell of Pteradon, Hard Girls, and Classics of Love). Dig it!

On episode 9 of the Punk Rock Pariah Podcast, Grendel is joined by Adam Brown, one of the visionaries behind the award winning documentary film Sonicsgate. The two talk about the film itself and why you should care about the documentary even though you may not be a sports fan. Adam also unveils plans for a new nonprofit called the Green and Gold Community Coalition that brings together people from all segments of society who support creating a non-taxpayer funded multi-use facility in Washington State to help build tourism and create jobs. In episode 5 of the Punk Rock Pariah Podcast, Grendel gets political. Following President Barack Obama's announcement of the death of Osama Bin Laden on Sunday, May 1, 2011, Grendel decide to take this opportunity to speak out in podcast form. Grendel waxes philosophical on where we've been and where we are going as a nation. Along with his thoughts on the developments, the podcast features political punk rock from bands like Against Me!, Anti-Flag, The Soviettes, and Mike Park. But don't worry kids, the next episode of the PRP Podcast will drop the politics and get back to the punk rock!

Hello Folks! First and foremost, sorry about the absence from the podcast for awhile. In the last month I have been in a car accident (just hours before the show) and had to do a speaking engagement when I would have otherwise been producing this podcast. Now that I have my own recording equipment at home, I hope that if something like that happens again, I can put together a shorter version of the podcast.   This is episode 4 of the podcast. It is called "The Alcohol Talking" after the song by Short Round (the final song on the podcast). There is no guest this week, but I hope you will enjoy it all the same. At just over 90 minutes, it is packed with punk rock awesomeness that you will enjoy the shit out of!

For episode 3, Ryan Koreski of The Damage Done and Jefferson Death Star came in to the studio and we spent a long time talking about growing up with punk rock, kids music, star wars, and the punk rock scene. Grendel is back with another punk rock podcast, this time with a very special guest...Chris Crusher of Smokejumper / Better Half Records. We sat around and shot the shit, spun some jams, and Chris played a bunch of live acoustic songs. This is the very first podcast of the Punk Rock Pariah radio show from KSUB Radio (www.ksubseattle.org). Punk Rock Pariah airs live every Monday night from 6 to 8pm PST. While this episode is simply the radio show as it aired on 28 February 2011, as time goes on, you will hear more and more interviews and special performances from artists. At almost two hours long, expect future podcast to be broken up in to parts and improved quality!
