Reel Reviews: The Little Things
21/01/2021 Duración: 06minThe story of a seasoned, yet disgraced veteran detective who teams up with a hot-shot fast-tracking young detective to hunt down a serial killer is the backdrop for this dark, complex story about the demons and insecurities that we carry around as well as a chance for redemption. The Little Things is a neo-noir psychological crime thriller film written and directed by John Lee Hancock, and produced by Hancock and Mark Johnson. Taking place in the 1990s, the film focuses on clashes between a Kern County deputy and a Los Angeles detective that occur during the investigation of a serial killer. The film stars Best Actor Oscar winners Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto in the lead roles, with Natalie Morales, Terry Kinney, Chris Bauer, Joris Jarsky, Isabel Arraiza, and Michael Hyatt in supporting roles.

After the officer is cleared of wrongdoing without having to face trial, Jefferson is forced to take matters into his own hands.
