Hello DC Nationites, with Cartoon Network's sudden decision to put DC Nation (Green Lantern: The Animated Series & Young Justice Invasion) on hiatus until January, I bet you're thinking the Angel of death awaits for our podcast as Michael and I are going to be stuck doing more comic book discussions but just because DC isn't providing us with new animation doesn't mean we can't go back and discuss their great animated content of the past. In other words, we are going to start a series of audio commentaries on the DC Animated Films beginning today with an old classic Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and wrapping itself up hopefully just before DC Nation returns from hiatus with the most recent film to come out Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1. Hey ATA Listeners, between Castle finally taking us on a trip with him to the Hamptons, Nico being out of town and the computer problems that made this episode come out so incredibly late, the inspiration behind the editing of this week's reviews for Once upon a Time, Alphas, Castle, Modern Family, Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory and Person of Interest would have to be me wanting to take a vacation. However, even though a vacation is all I ever wanted by the end of the week, don't worry we're not going on hiatus as I understand that the show must go on. In addition, all the blood and sweat that went into this episode was worthwhile as it had some really solid discussions especially when it came to Castle and Supernatural, so what are you waiting for? Hello DC Nationites, we hope we didn't loose you in all the recent confusion that has gone on surrounding Cartoon Network's schedule change regarding DC Nation and all that that implies. But don't worry, we're still here to cover our favorite shows! Although we had no new material air on Cartoon Network this weekend, Dan and Michael still get to talk about why DC Nation was moved, what that means for us fans, how this is a disservice, and how you can help! Hey ATA Listeners, this week's podcast is titled “Slow Ride” as the writers of our favorite TV shows took it easy on story development with the set of episodes we reviewed to give us what Nico and I called a slow week of television. I don't know if it was Person of Interest being preempted due to the presidential election but many of the shows we watched this week were lacking action as character development and overarching stories stayed in place. In fact, Bones as you'll hear in our Airwaves Rundown section was downright boring this week! Now, this philosophy didn't apply to all the shows that aired this week as the sitcoms (Go On, The Big Bang Theory and two episodes of Modern Family) all had solid outings that delivered big laughs. In addition, Once upon a Time and Supernatural made huge strides in making up for the shortcomings their shows had during the previous season but this still did not save this week from being deemed as slow. Hey ATA Listeners, when it comes to this podcast, an old saying from Westerns comes to mind about this town not being big enough for the two of us. Although, just in case you were wondering I'm not referring to Nico and I. I'm actually talking about the episodes of our favorite sci-fi/fantasy shows we reviewed for the week because they all seemed to feature a standoff between our favorite heroic characters and an arch nemesis. First off, on Alphas we had a literal battle of the minds between Dr. Rosen and the immortal big bad Stanton Parish, then with Warehouse 13, Artie and Brother Adrian's  conflict over the astrolabe began to heat up by taking another nasty turn and last but not least Doctor Who appeared to set up a Wild Western shootout with a cyborg that gave way to the Doctor battling a far greater nemesis himself as he was confronted by an alien Doctor, who was a skewed version of his David Tennant persona. Hey Everybody its Nico and Welcome to Across the Airwaves.  On this week's shorter, but still amazing episode of Across the Airwaves, Dan and I discuss the spectacular Doctor Who episode "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship," ... I know, Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. Join us as we geek out about my favorite show on television, we discuss the dinosaurs, the Doctor has a gang, riding 'Tricey' to freedom, the big, frothy, nothing-earth-shatteringly-dangerous-will-happen-but-this-is-going-to-be-nuts type of episode that this was, and what I'd call the "Willy Wonka Doctor."  It may not have been perfect, but at least 'Dinosaurs on a Spaceship' delivered where it counts, with frivolous Jurassic Park sized fun for all.  So join us for a fun episode of Doctor Who on a shortened episode of Across the Airwaves and we will be back to full size next week.

Hello DC Nationites, as you already know there have been some pretty controversial DC superhero related content with the word “returns” in the title. There has been the Danny DeVito nose biting fright fest Batman Returns and the letdown to Superman fans everywhere Superman Returns. Although, unlike those movies us using the word “returns” in the title of this week's DC Nation Podcast does not indicate another disappointment as we were joined again by Smallville Season 11 Comic Book Writer Bryan Q.
