What happens when you're reading the Bible and you come across a word or an idea that is new to you, confusing to you, or you just don't understand? Reading a book of the Bible is a great way to dwell in the Word. But how do we break that down? How are do we make that part of our daily routine? Numbers 1-19 || In the Wilderness Lesson 9 Review “Numbers” gets its name from the three times God calls for a census, but a better title is “In the Wilderness” because that’s where the entire account takes place. How can we keep from singing? If we know God – really grasp what He’s accomplished for us, truly understand His overwhelming love, even if we can’t fully grasp or completely understand – if we begin to look into His Word for Him – and not for our own fix – then I believe the answer is – we cannot. We simply erupt into song because our hearts are filled to overflowing with the reality of who God is and what He has given us. Mary visits Elizabeth - both mothers expecting a promised child. Lives change, hope is renewed, joy is shared. This advent message is an encouraging reminder to us all about what we can expect when we are expecting God to break through.  

As difficult as that is…as scary as it is to feel so deeply such questioning…as much as we are filled with fear and longing for hope…we are not abandoned. We are not without hope. We are not alone or without resources to respond. We cannot be passive. We cannot just let time pass. Here are seven prayers, and each one of these can be daily actions as well.
