In this episode we talk to Rubi Gomez from Operation H.O.P.E. Operation H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Endure) strives to bring hope as well as help to individuals and families in time of need. Helping people endure during times of hardship by delivering food baskets during the holidays, helping with home improvements and repairs, scholarships, and much more. The organization awards the "Beacon of H.O.P.E." to individuals who provide hope during times of need. This is our first of three "pilot" episodes. In this episode we discuss Charlie's background in stand up comedy, being homeless in NYC, the local comedy scene, and another comedian who grew up in El Paso, TX and has been very successful, Ryan Stout. This is one of three pilot episodes. We test out our audio equipment and figure out things as we go. Expect better sound quality as well as a tighter format in future episodes.
