Its another week and another loss as the Sunderland Bandwagon rolls into town and does not need to play two will to cruise to a 2-0 win as Salop once again dont score when on top and conceded when chasing the game. After a first win and with tails up Salop traveled to Scunthorpe with back to wins in mind. What followed was a disjointed performance which highlighted the weaknesses in the team once again. No good performance and unlucky narritive this time. Parts of this one were just poor. Glyn and Ollie discuss the game, the fans and once again John Askey. League One game number seven, Shrews are still awaiting their first win, but they do earn what is on paper a good draw against fast starting Portsmouth. Wow, where to start - 8 games NO wins.... after a frustrating late goal vs Manchester city and a frustrating effort to find a winner vs a poor 10 man Bristol Rovers. Ollie and Glyn try to look in depth at the problems that are starting to become apparent, Askey and his game management and other football things... Does this team play pretty football or are they pretty ineffective or a bit of both???? Good words for young Ryan Sears who is a bright spot this season already.... Then there is Glyns first review of New Meadow chips.... it dosent go well, and thats followed up by looking at STFCs social media "output". Glyn is back! Ollie and Glyn discuss all things Salop. Tough week for Salop fans as Town fail to convert chances against Doncaster and fail to secure all three points away at Luton.

What an action packed show we have this week with a lot to cover including the startling revelation that has knocked Glyn for 6 (we are serving chips in the buffets!!!!!) We take a deep dive into the saga of Jon Nolan and Toto looking at it from all sides, the players, Hurst, STFC and Brian and Ipswich as well as the fan reaction to the goings on. We also look at the signing of Anthony Grant. Then we focus on a proud but ultimately flat day as Salop launched England's first safe standing area and watched town have a good go at it but ultimately lose 1-0 to Bradford to already be in the relegation zone! With Ollie away again Glyn is joined by Mike Price and first timer on the pod Chris Hudson.

With Ollie still away on his late Honeymoon touring the US west coast, this week Glyn is joined by the "Two Mikes" (not the awful duo from talksport) to review the last knockings of pre season and look forward to opening day. We talk about what team we might play vs Bradford, Bradford's awful pre season record, if we might lose Toto and Nolan, and Glyns diplomatic incident with Telford MP Lucy Allen! The boys are back from a summer off football having spent there summer watching more football! With last seasons disappointments fading into the mirror and the world cup dust just settling... its time to look forward and see ho the start to the Askey era is shaping up. We cover the ins and outs, pre season so far and sum up some of our god awful predictions from last season. Its good to be back, and hope everyone enjoys the Podcasts. Season 3 starts here.....
