Salopcast

Well its another week without Ollie as he cashes in another sleep card so this week Glyn is joined by B and As own boss Admin, Owd Pilch (Ian Pritchard) We discuss the trip to Carlisle, the weather, Bowmans Twin, the weather, town progress into the third round, the weather and also some chat about the wind. Fair play to everyone who made it to (and back from) Carlisle after a mammoth effort, but fans were rewarded with a great result if not much a football game to watch!

In the last week of the Podcast without Ollie we have the first Pricecast for the first time in a couple of years as Glyn is joined by Big Mick Price (of the Nescliffe Mafia) and little Mike Price (England Fans team international) to go over an excellent week for Salop in VERY trying circumstances. We lavish Praise on loads of player chief of which is Udoh, laugh at Charlton, talk about where SC is now and look forward to the mammoth trip to Carlisle.

A hectic week for the Salopcast as Ollie welcomes his first born son to the world and misses his first Salopcast for long time to get some much needed sleep! Salop charge back from a poor start to comfortably beat non league Stratford Town in the first round of the FA Cup.

Salop defeat MK to earn three much needed points. We discuss the 1-0 home victory, the FA cup draw and much more.

Glyn is back to discuss the 2-1 defeat away at Ipswich down. We discuss the lack of hope amongst the fanbase and rumours surrounding the ownership of the club.

Two games, six points on offer but Salop come away with nothing. In a pod of two parts, we discuss the Wycombe game with Chris and Bolton away with James.

Salop come from behind to earn a well deserved victory at home to AFC Wimbledon. Ade and Chris join Ollie to discuss the 2-1 home win.

Salop dig in and earn a well deserved point on the road to Sheffield Wednesday.

Another week and we are stuck at a glass 1/3 full. Salop finally score first but cannot hold on to secure all the points. We review the Crewe game, share some more damning stats and line up a guest for next season.

Poolie joins Glyn and Ollie to discuss the mountain of issues facing the club. We discuss the transfer window, the Stanley game, review some awful statistics and look at Salop's bleak future. Salop Salop!

A superb second half earns Cotterill's men all three points. A worldie goal from Bloxham got Salop off the mark and Cosgrove sealed all three points with a tidy finish.

Another week and another two defeats. Glyn and Ollie chew the fat on another tough week as Salop fail to score a goal and find themselves bottom of the league without a point.

Game week two and we have two games to cover. Salop storm back to beat Lincoln on pens, with young Bloxham scoring the winner. Then wheels fall off on our first away game with fans since February 2020. Plus lots of transfer window discussion!

The 2021/22 season started which much excitement but excitement didn't transcend onto the pitch where we saw the same football we have seen since 2018. There was much to discuss on and off the pitch this weekend! Chris Hudson joins Ollie in Glyn's absence to discuss the Burton 0-1 home defeat.

The new season is nearly here and its time for our season preview! Chris, Mike and Tom join us to predict Salop's final position, player of the season, breakthrough player and areas for improvement. We then take a quick look at the rest of the division; who is going to win the league, the dark horse and which four sides are going down.

Salopcast had the chance to sit down with the three members of the media team at Shrewsbury town for an hour and talk through everything that is going on at the club and plans for the future We spoke to Scott Demmerling the head of the media team about the local and national press, the media team moving to the training ground, Jason Cummings footage on the cutting room floor that can NEVER see the light of day and where the team get their inspiration for what and how they put content out across all platforms. We also spoke to Matt Burgess the Graphic Designer and Videographer who talked us through his design process, the role the fans wants and needs play on that, the need for consistent branding at a football club and just where he gets his drone and his dislike of the rain!
