Military Monday with John D. Gresham With Maj. Gen. David Burford, USA (Ret.)
13/10/2014 Duración: 01h26minThus far, the U.S.-led air campaign against ISIL has not been producing anything like the results that have been projected and hoped for when it began two months ago. Despite an increased operations tempo and the addition of Allied bombing missions from nations in NATO and the GCC, the bombing is not doing what it can and should. Credible analysts have clearly stated that the lack of ground-based targeting support has been a major bottleneck to successfully slowing ISIL in strategic locations like Khboani along the Turkish/Syrian border. And given the Obama administration's hard limitation of, "No U.S. Boots on the Ground," there is virtually no chance of any substantial ground forces being committed to the fight. And with battalions/brigades of soldiers and Marines completely out of the question, are there other options open to the Obama administration? The answer is "Yes!" The answer however does involve some "Boots on the Ground." A few, very "special" boots drawn from the ranks of the U.S. Special Operati

Just Believe with Lisa Tarves - How to Survive Life and Death
12/10/2014 Duración: 01h09minLisa Tarves, Metaphysician, author of the book, "Just Believe", Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and gifted angel intuitive, interviews experts in the area of metaphysics and spirituality each Sunday at 7 pm Eastern. This week, Just Believe welcomes Robert Kopecky. Born in 1956, and raised on the outskirts of San Diego, California, Robert Kopecky survived a traumatic childhood, traveled extensively as a young man, and lived a variety of lives as a ski bum, a martial artist, a factory welder, a monumental sculpture fabricator, an underground cartoonist; and finally as an award-winning illustrator, art director, and animation designer. His journeys – from the Mayan underground, to remote South Pacific islands, to the capitals of Europe, to the deserts of Arizona and the canyons of New York City – were punctuated by three dramatic, distinctly different "Near Death Experiences." Eventually, the years of professional successes and personal setbacks delivered him to his own “dark night of the soul.”

Military Monday with John D. Gresham With Zenith Press Author Robert George
06/10/2014 Duración: 01h11minIn the U.S. Military, there is no more revered or respected award for service than the Medal of Honor. Given only to service members who have exhibited the quality of going, "Above and Beyond the Call of Duty," the Medal of Honor represents the pinnacle of America's appreciation for military service in combat. Since being created 150 years ago during the American Civil War, the Medal of Honor has evolved a great deal. At one time it was awarded to whole Union regiments for mass re-enlistments. Today however, a successful Medal of Honor award is a long and complex procedure, which not only looks at the individual act of valor being considered, but also the entire previous life and military career of the candidate. This is how carefully protected and held, the Medal of Honor has become. To learn more about the Medal of Honor and its evolution, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham for Military Monday (#MilitaryMonday on @Writrstream) at 1 p.m. Eastern. His guest this week will be auth

Just Believe with Lisa Tarves - Free Psychic Readings with The Queen
05/10/2014 Duración: 01h22minLisa Tarves, Metaphysician, author of the book, "Just Believe", Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and gifted angel intuitive, interviews experts in the area of metaphysics and spirituality each Sunday at 7 pm Eastern. This week, Just Believe welcomes, The Queen! The following is her story: The Queen is Clairvoyant, a Tarot Reader, Dream Interpreter and Life Coach with 35 years experience as a full time, professional psychic. I got nicknamed The Queen because I used to promenade down the street all dressed up around age 20, and sometimes just for fun I’d put on a tiara to make myself feel good, and they’d laugh good humoredly so it stuck. When I started doing readings, people would say, “How do you know that?” and I’d say, “its Majik!” Being psychic comes naturally to me. My Mom and Grandmother were both psychics, but it was my Aunt took me under her wing at 12 and helped me work with my gifts and honor them, and before I knew it I was out in the world using my skills to help others. I loved it

Military Monday with John D. Gresham and Lt. Gen. David Deptula, USAF (Ret.)
29/09/2014 Duración: 01h10minThe current air campaign being conducted by the United States and its coalition allies in Iraq and Syria, is a complex and poorly understood operation by the American people. And clearly, the Administration of President Barack Obama prefers it that way, given that they have not even bothered to announce publicly, a name for the operation. Most of the commentators regarding this operation are political in nature, with an occasional retired Army or Marine general officer, to comment on aerial operations they have little or no insight into, and no personal experience with whatsoever. The airwaves, cable, and satellite bandwidth is presently dominated by airpower dilettantes, ignorants, and media wannabes, providing the public with no information whatsoever about the combat operations currently being in the Middle East by America and its Allies. There is however one place they can go to gain information and learn the truth about what is happening right now, and that place this week is Military Monday on the Writ

Military Monday with John D. Gresham and Author Cord Scott – Comics and Conflict
15/09/2014 Duración: 01h28minThough America cannot claim credit for the invention of cartoons and other storytelling graphics, there can be little question that the art form today has its home solidly within the borders and culture of the United States. The editorial cartoons of English newspapers and magazines were quickly adopted by the American colonies, and thanks to Benjamin Franklin and other publishers, took on a distinctly Continental flavor. And throughout the many wars fought during the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries, cartoons grew in both sophistication and quality. But it was the development of comic books in the decade before World War II, that created a new medium of illustrated storytelling which became a distinctly American art form. Superheroes like Superman and Captain Marvel came into being, and the idea of visual storytelling became a mainstay in American media for young people. And when America went to war in 1941, comic books and their characters went to war too. In fact, comic books, their characters, and sub
