We discuss a wide-ranging array of topics, from cosmology and dark energy to mysteries of the ancient Americas. Continuing our conversation from the previous episode regarding the Anzick skeleton, we dive deeper into the enigma of the mysterious Clovis culture, and the possible tool-type connections to the ancient Solutreans of Europe. The Watcher joins us for the final segment to talk about the oddities of the DNA connections.

We discuss the mystery of the Clovis people, and the strange fact that there has only been one set of human remains discovered that are linked to the tens of thousands of artifacts and habitats spread across much of North America that are considered part of the "Clovis Complex". In the second half of the show, we talk about the Suspicious0bservers youtube channel and their take on past extinction events being linked to the sun from superflares and/or micronovas.

We continue our exploration of the anomalous phenomena detailed in the book "Unexplained!" by Jerome Clark. More strange rains of weird stuff, anomalous ice falls, animals being discovered encased or "entombed" in stone, concrete, coal, and wood, luminous phenomena in the open ocean, and sightings of Unidentified Submarine Objects. We also read an article about quantum teleportation of information, and an old underground "temple" that may be linked to the Knights Templar.

This is the first of a series of podcasts where we look at strange anomalies of all sorts - ufo sightings, stange clouds, poltergeist-like phenomena, rains of stones, rains of fish, frogs, snakes, salamanders, blood, tissue, bones, rotting flesh, and more. We also discuss the amazing metallurgy of a 2,500 year old sword found in a tomb in China, and the legends of "flexible glass" invented by an ancient Roman.

This week we have Scottie Baldwin join us to talk about his career as a FOH Engineer for world-class music acts, traveling the world, the philosophy of science, ancient mysteries, the physics of sound, and a possible encounter with a ghost in an old theatre. David Mathisen joins us to talk about comparative mythology, astronomy, and constellations as symbols that cross cultures and enormous swathes of time in human history. Also joining us is Brad Young, who has worked with Randall for over two decades, planning and organizing Randall's trips into the field to examine and study the marks of past catastrophes in the geological record. We are joined by Chris Cottrell, the man behind the Dabbler's Den, to talk about his ongoing research into the Carolina Bays, the Younger Dryas, and the possibility of a large oblique impact into Saginaw Bay in the Great Lakes region. Chris gives us the rundown of the work of Antonio Zamorra and others who have done work on the Carolina bays and what they think may have caused this enormous field of geomorphic features in the landscape of the eastern seaboard of the United States. We talk with Dr. Martin Sweatman about his book, Prehistory Decoded, and his work on the symbols on the pillars of Gobekli Tepe.  Dr. Sweatman applies his understanding of statistical analysis and the scientific method toward testing new ideas about Gobekli Tepe's symbols possibly being related to zodiacal imagery and the Precession of the Equinoxes. From there, he is able to take another look at ancient symbols across a wide range of time, from as far back as ~40,000BP and as recent as late neolithic to the early bronze age, showing that there may be a commonality across an enormous expanse of time, and that humans have been using a "language of the stars" that possibly stems from an exceedingly ancient common source. He also has a section in his book detailing the work of the Comet Research Group and the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis, and how recent developments in the science of astronomy show that earth encounters cometary debris far more often than had previously been thought. We take a deep dive into genetics and tracing ancestry by way of The Watcher, who knows a lot more about this subject than we do, and thus is better able to explain how no one really knows wtf is going on. We also read a bit about possible connections between Pictish symbols and images seen at Gobekli Tepe, and also the now-infamous planned mass-incursion into Area 51 by millions of Naruto runners.

We read and discuss several articles detailing new discoveries in human origins, that push back the timeline of the spread of homo sapiens around the world, and their interbreeding and interactions with other hominin species such as Neandertal and Denisovans. We also read an article about a remote region in Russia that has strange magnetic fields, where compasses and even watches don't function properly, and people often report bizarre sightings and physiological effects. In the final segment, we talk about physics and cosmology, and how some things just don't seem to add up in the standard model.

We talk about the mystery of civilizing knowledge, esoteric information, and technology being "injected" into cultures around the world from time to time across history. His decades of experience working as a scientific glass blower and seeing the patterns and reactions of molten glass to various stimuli have led him to a new way of analyzing very large patterns in the geology around certain areas of North America. We talk about his ideas and vision on this subject, and much more!

We spent an amazing ten days at the Elk Lake Lodge, having fascinating conversations, going on hikes, exploring the wilderness, visiting Chimney Rock and Mesa Verde, looking at mysterious ancient ruins, having our minds blown by Randall's fantastic presentations, jammin' live music, looking for UFOs, getting snowed on, visiting the hot springs, and much more. It was magical and amazing. In between all of that it was hard to find time to podcast, but we did it, and even managed to get everyone down into the podcast room for a big roundtable, which you will hear on this episode, plus some audio from Randall's presentation on Lake Nipigon, ice age catastrophes, and possible future expeditions.

Joshua Cutchin joins us for an excellent conversation about all things paranormal. We talk a bit about his book "A Trojan Feast", but mostly we just take a fascinating dive into all kinds of paranormal topics, from cryptids to ufos to fairy folklore.

We read some listener emails and comments, which are always great, and discuss those. Then Russ reads an article about Alien Abduction Insurance. After we laugh about that, Russ reads an article from the excellent website ancient-origins.net, about enormous ancient stone mesoamerican sculptures that have areas of anomalous magnetism embedded in them, and we talk about how the standard model picture of ancient civilizations, with no access to iron, would have no way of figuring out there was magnetism in the stone.... so how did they know it was there? Kyle talks about the diagrams of ancient mounds and geoglyphs, and how they seem to be attempting to "square the circle" in some of these structures. We also speculate on what it would be like for ancient people to have tried to comprehend the night sky, and what things they may have noticed without all the modern understanding about stars and planets getting in the way.
