Brothers Of The Serpent

We spend most of this episode going through cases from David Paulides' book, Missing 411: Western United States and Canada. We discuss each case briefly, then finish up with a more in depth discussion in the final segment.  

After a fantastic SpaceWeatherNews update we do some listener maintenance and read some emails and promote our brand new Twitter feed (@SnkBrs), re-re-explain Precession again in another different way, then move on to some serious Missing 411 stuff in the second hour of the show. Clearly, Kyle identifies with the Physicists. Russ, on the other hand, is not even on this graph. 

After SpaceWeatherNews and a SunProbe update, we read a story about a mystery boom heard at the Serpent Mound in Ohio, and Brenner (returning as a special guest for this special episode) reads a story about the return of the Skull Asteroid of Certain Death this Halloween. Russ then recounts some personal anecdotes about strange sounds and other "ghostly" phenomena. We then get to the main topic of the show, which is the Precession of the Equinoxes. Of course. After our normal SpaceWeatherNews update and some pontificating about quantum mechanics and other things we completely do not understand, we spend the rest of the show going through a selection of fairy folklore tales from the excellent book "The Fairy Faith in Celtic Countries" by W. Y. Evans-Wentz, and discussing the many connections to other mythologies, both ancient and modern.

We discuss a wide range of topics on this episode including the mystery of the ever-burning lamps, a new scientific paper proposing that the octopus is an alien species that came to Earth in cometary ice over 200 million years ago, crop circles and stone circles and subtle earth energies, and the role that science fiction has played in the advancement of science.

After a SpaceWeatherNews update we discuss a weekend trip to Big Bend National Park and the observations of the geological mysteries there by Russ and The Watcher. Russ talks about a new Aptronym he discovered, then we move into some follow-up discussion on the Epic of Gilgamesh and how that story may be connected to the mysteries of Viracocha/Quetzalcoatl and the giant basalt heads of the "Olmec". For the second half of the show, we play a brief clip from a lecture given by Dr. Manly P. Hall, where he touches on many of the topics we talk about, essentially proving that he was, in fact, a SnakeBro. Even if he didn't know it at the time.  

In this episode Kyle gives us a detailed and fantastic rendition of the oldest known written tale, the Epic of Gilgamesh. We discuss the possible meanings and symbolism and hidden truths contained in the story, but mostly, we just sit back and enjoy this most epic and ancient tale of Gilgamesh, King in Uruk.

After some excellent Spaceweathernews updates Russ goes through some missing information he missed when discussing missing people in episode 61. This eventually leads to a brief discussion on the topic of alien abductions, implants, and the possible connections to shamanism. In the second half of the show, we read portions of Graham Hancock's book Underworld, in which he describes the mysterious pyramids dotting the tropical jungles of Maldive islands that are off limits to tourists, and what this might mean regarding possible submerged ruins in and around the Maldives. This then leads to the topic of rock-cut temples found around the world, and how they are basically impossible to explain as being cut by hand using conventional tools. After an awesome new SUNPROBE update and a few other interesting news items, we dive into the mystery of Edward Leedskalnin and his megalithic Coral Castle, the enigmatic Voynich Manuscript, and multiple cases of mass disappearances that have occurred throughout history. We open the show with spaceweathernews about NASA making the "coldest place in space" using incredibly hot lasers, and giant rogue MagnePlanets hurtling through the interstellar void sucking up all the spacemetal. We then read a couple of articles regarding a new spate of mystery booms in Tennessee. Kyle proposes a brand new hypothesis involving a black hole and local time dilation and how that may be a possible explanation for why the rest of the universe looks so weird in some ways, and why alien civilizations seem to be scarce when they shouldn't be. We finish the show discusing the mystery of giant spiraling wheels of light reported seen in the oceans and seas around the world, and what their possible causes may be.  

We start this episode with some space news and space weather updates, salty puddles on Mars possibly containing bactaliens, and new low frequency Fast Radio Bursts, possibly from other, more intelligent, technologically advanced bactaliens. In this episode we interview Mrs. Patti Canup from Rockwall, Texas, about the famous(some would say infamous) rock wall that has been found buried there all through the county since the pioneer days of the 1800s. The interview goes for about an hour, then we spend the final two segments of the show discussing the photographs and newspaper articles Mrs. Canup sent us along with some follow-up research we did on the geology and possible ancient connections of this enigmatic stone edifice. After a brief sun probe update we read a short article on weird spacewhale sounds coming from a moon of Saturn, which sort of makes sense because the moon is covered in water but is still pretty weird because the water is all ice.  We then spend the next few segments describing our most recent SnakeBros SnakeForce Field Trip where we drank hundreds of beers in a river named after the devil, found lots of amazing ancient artifacts and dozens of world-class fossil footprints, located ancient beach sand in the middle of the desert, ate tons of tacos and pancakes, and destroyed an innocent cloud with mind bullets. The mysteries we saw in the field lead us into a conversation about the larger mysteries of human habitation in the Americas, ranging from the controversial Huyatlaco site in Mexico to strange carved stones found in the northeastern U.S. Enjoy! We open the show with some snakenews about how scientists are going to touch the sun from behind a supershield from 4 million miles away. We talk about the superstition of "knock on wood" and where it came from, and Russ reads an article on Ouija and then flips out about bananas, which Brett explains is a berry that grows on an herb that looks like a tree with potatoes for roots. After that, we talk again about doppler and redshift and how the universe is probably not what we think it is.  

After a quick mention of the Lavanado in Hawaii being even more terrifying than a Sharknado, we will have been going to eventually then diving into a discussion about retrocausality and its wider implications for how it does previously later affect our future past actions. Once after we have will be finished that topic, we finally did eventually get our timeline straight by reading an article about the ancient Sumerian Kings List, which leads into a discussion on possible precessional clues and longevity of the gods and space genes. We finish out the episode discussing the carbon cycle and the fact that so much benefit to the biosphere has been shown to take place by increasing CO2 levels and thus massively increasing the awesomeness of plant life.
