Episode #193: The Hidden History of the Human Race - Part 2
01/04/2021 Duración: 02h27minIn part 2 of our deep dive into The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, we finish up on the "cut bones" section of the book and move on to looking at stone tools found in exceedingly ancient geological contexts. Once again the authors give many examples of excellent finds of stone tools, bone implements, tool workshops, and fires, in sediments that are considered to be many millions of years old, far too ancient to fit the current paradigm of human evolution.

Episode #192: UnchartedX Swapcast - The Valley Temple and the Osereion
26/03/2021 Duración: 02h01minThis week we join Ben from UnchartedX and Hugh Newman, one of the founders of Megalithomania. We turn once again to Egypt and Ben's excellent footage and photos to look at the Valley Temple on the Giza Plateau, and the Osereion, as possible examples of megalithic structures showing different stages of construction, possibly built at very different times. Again, it is in the details that really interesting possibilities about these structures come forward, and we take a close look at these details on this episode. We have some excellent discussions about the possible purposes of these mysterious structures, and Hugh Newman brings new and interesting insights for us to consider. We also talk about upcoming Egypt tours. Hugh Newman is cohosting one later this year, get more details here: http://www.megalithomania.co.uk/egypt2021.html Hugh Newman is an explorer, megalithomaniac and author of Earth Grids: The Secret Pattern of Gaia’s Sacred Sites (2008), Stone Circles (2017) and co-author of Gian

Episode #191: The Hidden History of the Human Race - Part 1
18/03/2021 Duración: 02h23minWe start our next book report series, this time on The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson. This book, which is a condensed version of their original work, " Forbidden Archaeology", is filled with fascinating anomalies of archaeology and paleoanthropology, ranging from evidence of butchering in fossilized bones, to complex constructions, all found in geological contexts that seem to put them into far earlier times that current science allows for. This episode, we read the various forwards, prefaces, and preambles of the book, establishing the methods of research and identifying the limitations of understanding in the field. We then take a look at the first set of anomalies presented in the book, which are fossil animal bones with signs of human butchering.

Episode #190: UnchartedX Swapcast - Karnak and Luxor
13/03/2021 Duración: 02h22minWe return again to swapcasting with Ben from UnchartedX, and this week we are also joined by Jahannah James (check out her youtube channel here) who was on the recent Egypt trip with Ben. The four of us go through Ben's footage and their observations and memories of the trip and the sites of the Karnak and Luxor temples in Egypt. We discuss the beautiful dynastic architecture, and how it seems to be surrounding and enclosing objects of a much different and possibly much more ancient nature....the monolithic statues and obelisks, for example. There are also incredibly beautiful monolithic doorways carved from single pieces of hard stone, some of which seem to have undergone a mysterious event that caused incredible damage to them. We ponder these mysteries and many more as we look at the footage and the imagery that Ben provides. And yes, we know that it is sometimes frustrating to listen to something like this when you can't see the visuals. The video will be up soon on all of our channels, so look for it t

Episode #189: Where was Atlantis?
05/03/2021 Duración: 02h39minTony joins us this week to revisit the topic of Atlantis. This time we look at the details of the city and civilization itself, and the many possible places and times people have theorized it may have existed. Was it an antediluvian civilization, or might it have existed much more recently, in the bronze age? Was it somewhere in the Atlantic ocean, or in another body of water? We look at Morocco, Malta, Richat, Azores, Bolivia, and many other places. Possibly, as with so many of these ancient mysteries, we will never really know.

Episode #188: UnchartedX Swapcast - Ollantaytambo
25/02/2021 Duración: 02h24minWe return to our series of video swapcasts with Ben from UnchartedX, this time to look at Ollantaytambo, the Coricancha, and a site known as "The Temple of the Moon" in Peru. As always, Ben's footage is excellent, and we spend much of the show discussing details of the strange, rock-cut and apparently heavily damaged stonework, as well as the enigmatic megalithic work of Ollantaytambo and the Coricancha. So little is known about the origins of these sites and structures, that all we can do is observe the details, ask questions, and wonder.

Episode #187: Listener Communications
20/02/2021 Duración: 02h11minThis week's winter storm that came through Texas put everything on hold, including our podcast schedule, as we were iced in and the power was flickering on and off. Finally, on Friday, the snow and ice started to thaw, and we were able to get in the studio to record a show. This is a correspondence show, since we had nothing else planned. Great emails from everyone, and they spark some interesting discussions.

Episode #186: UFOs - Part 4 - The Others
12/02/2021 Duración: 03h21minWe are joined in-studio once again by Marty Garza to continue our discussion on the topic of UFOs, aliens, extraterrestrials, spiritual/interdimensional beings, and the incredibly varied and strange nature of this phenomenon. As usual, Marty has done a ton of research and prepared copious notes for the show, and he guides us through multiple encounter stories from the military and civilians. For a while we focus on "USO" reports, or Unidentified Submerged Objects, also known as "Trans-medium vehicles", as they seem to operate as well in the water as out of it. We look at some of the stranger aspects of "Skinwalker Ranch", and how the phenomena there seemed to range from entity sightings, to UFOs, flying orbs, cattle mutilations, voices, ghosts, and "demons". Marty then takes the show in an interesting direction, looking at Gnostic, Hermetic, and old Christian considerations of "daimons" as beings both physical and non-physical, good and evil, existing at the periphery of perception. We wrap up the discussion

Episode #185: UnchartedX Swapcast - Sacsayhuaman
06/02/2021 Duración: 02h23minFor our third installment in the series of swapcasts we are doing with Ben from UnchartedX, we are joined by Matt from the excellent Ancient Architects YouTube channel. The four of us take a look at Ben's raw footage of the amazing and mysterious megalithic site of Sacsayhuaman in Peru, as well as the remains of beautiful megalithic, polygonal, "cyclopean" masonry in the city of Cuzco below. Unlike Egypt, there is far less information available about these sites, what their true origins are, who built them, and why. We ponder these questions, as well as the questions of how these sites were constructed, as they seem almost unbelievable in the details of the masonry....and yet there they stand. Someone did it. Who they were and how they did it are still mysteries. The video for this episode will be released on all of our YouTube channels, so stay tuned!

Episode #184: Legends of the Shamir
31/01/2021 Duración: 02h23minTaking a break this week in the swapcast series we've been doing with Ben from UnchartedX, We take the time to respond to emails, which sparks some great discussion on the Serapeum and the pyramids and ancient, lost technology. We then turn to the legends of a particular lost object which we have spoken of before, the legendary Shamir, which was said to have been able to cut and shape stone with ease. In some cases the Shamir itself was said to be a stone, but also maybe a living creature, a worm of some kind, or perhaps an herb or some other plant. Whatever the Shamir was, it seems clear that some ancient people could work stone in ways that we do not understand in modern times.

Episode #183: UnchartedX Swapcast - Khafre Pyramid
23/01/2021 Duración: 02h18minIn our second swapcast in the series with Ben from UnchartedX, we are joined by Chuck, host of the excellent YouTube channel cf-apps7865. The four of us spend a couple of hours watching Ben's footage inside and around the "second great pyramid" at Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khafre. There are lots of fascinating details about this structure, which doesn't receive nearly as much attention as its nearby companion, the Great Pyramid. Ben shows us the tunnels beneath it, the chambers in the bedrock below it, the enormous amount of work the builders went through to cut a flat area from the bedrock in which to build it, and the line of granite rubble that surrounds the bottom of it, all that is left of the granite casing stones that used to cover the first few courses of core masonry. We also look at some other interesting features of the Giza plateau related to this pyramid, such as the Sphinx Causeway, the Valley Temple, and the megalithic "tile" stones that were used to make a flat surface around the

Episode #182: UnchartedX Swapcast - Serapeum
15/01/2021 Duración: 02h06minWe join Ben from UnchartedX in the first of a series of swapcast episodes where we go through some of his amazing footage of ancient sites he's visited. In this episode we focus on the Serapeum of Saqqara in Egypt and the mystery of the massive, precision stone "boxes" in that site. How did they make them, what were they for, how did they move them into place through those small tunnels? How old are they really? We look at a lot of the little details in Ben's footage that shows us how deep the mystery of these artifacts really is. Since this is a visual episode, there will be video of the entire conversation that includes the clips Ben showed us. So look for that on our YouTube channel, or on Ben's. But we did our best to provide descriptions for audio listeners.

Episode #181: Stellar Nucleosynthesis and Radiometric Dating
07/01/2021 Duración: 03h01sIn this episode Russ gives a presentation, with slides, about the standard model processes that take place in stars to generate elements, how that process eventually results in novas and supernovas, and how supernovas and other similar very high energy events generate cosmic rays. When these cosmic rays hit earth, they result in "cosmogenic nuclides" like the radioactive Carbon 14 that is so often used to date material in archaeological settings. We also run through a short list of the most often used dating techniques, how they work, what the problems are, what the ranges are, and what the margins of error are. We also look at the various assumptions and methods and theory behind these techniques. As this was a slide show presentation, it may help to watch the video, so look for that on our youtube channel.

Episode #180: Listener Communications (and some Dark Matter)
31/12/2020 Duración: 02h26minThis is our final episode for 2020, and we streamed it live to the Discord, which is always fun. The Watcher was there, plus a lot of the Discord Snakeforce, trolling us non-stop in the chats while we recorded the episode. We had a lot of listener emails backed up, plus we had a "stack of stuff" that we hadn't yet gotten to on the show, so for this episode we go through all the emails and respond to them, plus we read some articles on possible alien signals being detected, the sun may be actually about to enter into a really powerful new solar cycle rather than a weak one, and a jeweler who uses ultrasonic tools that leave very similar marks on the stones he works, as what is often seen in Egypt, Peru, and other places with mysterious ancient stonework. In the last segment, Kyle talks about his renewed interest in the "search for dark matter" being undertaken by standard model physicists, what he is learning, what he hopes to learn, and what he thinks so far about what he is discovering. Dark matter, and dark

Episode #179: George Howard - The Cosmic Tusk in Egypt
23/12/2020 Duración: 02h19minGeorge Howard joins us once again on the show, this time to talk about his recent trip to Egypt with Ben from UnchartedX. We talk with George about his impressions of the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, the Osireion, the Bent Pyramid, the unfinished obelisk, the Temple of Hathor, and of course, the Serapeum and the enigmatic stone boxes inside it. George tells us about the somewhat harrowing experience of descending over a hundred feet into a narrow shaft to see other granite boxes beneath the Giza plateau. We talk about George's overall impressions of the constructions he saw, and about the possibility of some of the objects being "precursor" artifacts, surround by later dynastic constructions. George has posted about the trip on his excellent blog, The Cosmic Tusk. He has also posted a collection of over 500 images from the trip. Aside from the conversation with George, we also open a bunch of 1-up boxes (it was like Christmas in the Tangent Cube), and we read articles about the re-discovered D

Episode #178: Tesla, Astrophysics and the Standard Candle
19/12/2020 Duración: 02h39minArcher Finley joins us again, this time from afar, for a continued discussion of Tesla's wireless transmission project and to answer questions that episode generated from listeners (and us). This leads to a discussion of one of Tesla's other projects, "Telegeodynamics", or, the transmission of mechanical energy through the body of the earth....also sometimes referred to as "the earthquake machine". Then we read an article sent by a listener about a project to understand what kinds of long-term geological signatures might be left on a planet by an advanced civilization, and how we might look for these kinds of signatures in earth's geological history, and how this could help us find signatures of advanced civilizations on distant exoplanets. This leads into a discussion of the current state of the search for exoplanets, what astronomers are finding, and what this data implies about the actual number of planets out there in the universe. We also discuss the concept of an astronomical "standard candle", al

Episode #177: Laird Scranton and the Velikovsky Heresies
10/12/2020 Duración: 02h28minThis week we are joined again by Laird Scranton to talk about The Velikovsky Heresies, as a follow up to our deep dive on that book. We talk through many of the questions we developed during the course of the deep dive series, such as the problem of calendar changes and how some cultures made changes to their calendars long after the 7th century BC. We talk about the ancient Chinese and Korean records of astronomical observations that don't seem to match up with current solar system models. We talk about the Dogon and their traditions that correspond to ancient Egypt and their calendars. We also take some time to ask Laird some questions that listeners posted in the Discord, about a wide range of subjects that leads in many interesting directions. Thanks to Henry Hablak for the awesome show art!

Episode #176: Nikola Tesla and Wireless Power
03/12/2020 Duración: 02h51minArcher Finley joins us in studio once again, this time to give us an electrical engineer's perspective on the topic of Tesla's experiments into wireless power transmission. Archer starts with the basics, interspersing the history of Tesla's work with basic circuit diagrams, and working up to Tesla's actual patents related to the wireless transmission of electricity. We discuss how the system would work, according to the patents, and whether it could actually be implemented on a global scale. We talk about whether this system involves "free energy" or not, and about why Tesla lost the funding for the project. Archer did this presentation as a slide show, and the images he used were very helpful in understanding the way the system should work. Be sure to check our youtube channel for this episode, as we did record video for the whole presentation.

Episode #175: Seriah's Mechanism
26/11/2020 Duración: 02h52minWe are joined this week by Seriah Azkath, from the Where Did the Road Go podcast, to talk about an idea he's been working on for a while now. We discuss poltergeist activity, bigfoot, UFOs, time loops, ghosts, EVP, Point Pleasant and the Mothman, Men in Black, Near Death Experiences, parapsychology and ESP abilities, and retrocausality, and how all of these might in some way be either part of the same phenomena, or be multiple phenomena resulting from the same underlying cause. A big part of this is Seriah's point that many of these seemingly disparate types of events have similar features; for example, the kinds of things that people call "poltergeists" when they happen in a house, are attributed to sasquatch when they happen in the wilderness. A glowing light floating around in an abandoned building is a "ghost", while a glowing light in the sky is a "UFO". Retrocausality is a big part of the function of the Mechanism that Seriah is proposing....that events in the future can have an effect on the present,

Episode #174: Bronze Age Atlantis
19/11/2020 Duración: 02h42minWe are joined once again by Snakeforce member Tony Petrangelo to continue discussing the topic of Plato's Atlantis, and whether this story could have possibly been referring to the time period of the bronze age collapse and the invasion of Egypt by the mysterious "Sea People". Tony leads us through the complexities of bronze age civilizations in the Mediterranean, looking at clay tablets of letters being written from one king to another describing the state of their kingdoms and the problems they were facing. We also look at the description of the invasion and defeat of the Sea People in Egypt, how they were described, and what they were called, and where they may have been from. In the end, what Tony is showing us are the correlations to these events and some of the details given by Plato. He doesn't have a "location" of Atlantis, or an idea of "who" the "Atlanteans" were. Rather, he is looking at the evidence to see if this may have been the time period for the events described by Plato. Here is a list of
