Episodios

  • 046: "Pillar of Salt" (FTWD:S2E12)

    20/09/2016 Duración: 01h17min

'Pillar of Salt' is probably the best episode of the second half of the season. Up to this point our cast has been settling in to their new homes, more or less accepting their situation, with the exception of Travis. Guess we'll find out his story next week. But here we are, letting our guard down, getting stabbed, running out of drugs, pissing off gangs and announcing to the city, Come and get it! This of course is spread between our groups, but is lining up to be a great next few episodes. Let us know your thoughts. Thanks for the continued feedback and show input. A quick show note: we have moved our taping day to the Tuesday following each broadcast for the balance of Fear the Walking Dead. If you can get us your thoughts by mid day Tuesday, we should be able to share them on air for discussion. Don't forget to like us on facebook if you have not already, follow us on twitter and give us some love on itunes. Until next week...

  • 045: "Pablo & Jessica" (FTWD:S2E11)

    14/09/2016 Duración: 01h14min

Just a quick heads up, as you'll no doubt hear when you download, we had some tech difficulties with Kim's audio. You'll hear some popping which we painstakingly tried to remove as much of the annoyance as possible, but this was one of our better discussions involving Fear, so we couldn't waste any of it. We definitely didn't see eye to eye on the good, bad and ugly of this episode, but it was very entertaining. Maddie and Strand survive the flying infected in time to save Alicia and friends and then devise an easy way to get that zombie smell out of the hotel. What an awesome pier scene! All and all, can't wait for next week to see Where the hotel folks and Colonia lead us. Let us know your thoughts and thanks as always!

  • 044: "Do Not Disturb" (FTWD:S2E10)

    07/09/2016 Duración: 01h21min

Great new installment of Fear the Walking Dead and we learn the Do Not Disturb door tags was a hotel staff member. We see Elena's wicked story of how everything went down at the beginning of the outbreak with a locked up wedding party. We then finally catch up with Chris and Travis as they meet up with the brofecta as Chris takes a mental turn for the worse. Finally we head to the present hotel where a series of circumstances lead Elena and Alicia past the hotel guests, a pack of wasted and to the door step of Maddie and Strands hiding place. We celebrate our 1 year anniversary this week, albeit a few weeks late, and got soem great listener feedback. Please keep it coming. Find us at Stitcher, TuneIn Radio, Soundcloud or wherever great podcasts are given away. Like us on facebook. Love us itunes. Thanks as always!

  • 043: "Los Muertos" (FTWD:S2E9)

    31/08/2016 Duración: 01h31min

This weeks Fear the Walking Dead had some great scenes including the Infected Wall at Colonia and the Flyers at the hotel. We rejoin Maddie and her crew to find their ride is gone, drinks are cheap and someone forgot to ring room service. We also see Nick is understanding his position in Colonia while at the same time showing his value. The episode ends with everyone hanging off a cliff, and we still haven't seen Travis or Chris. There was some disagreement amongst us to whether the previous weeks episode 8 or this, Los Muertos, was better. I think we were all in agreement, this felt more like the mid season premiere we were expecting. Let us know what you thought on facebook, twitter or email us at fearmepodcast@gmail.com. Thanks for listening!

  • 042: "Grotesque" (FTWD:S2E8) MSP

    23/08/2016 Duración: 01h36min

After a short summer break we're back with the Mid Season Premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. This one was a journey of self discovery for Nick and there were mixed feelings about the success of this episode. It was undoubtedly a good show, but there was a question about kicking off the second half of season 2 with this episode. We had a great time discussing the ins and outs of the journey and Scot had a few self revelations of his own. We had a lot of great listener feedback to discuss this time around and we think its a promising sign of how excited people were to see the show reboot. Keep up the comments! fearmepodcast@gmail.com

  • 041: "Call and Response" (Preacher:S1E9)

    03/08/2016 Duración: 01h25min

So they finally made the call, and the response was brilliantly funny. In a Monty Python-esque scene we find even God's fill in could not resist the command of the monster voice. We also see Carlos get dealt with, a great scene with Sheriff Root and Cassidy, the self demise of the dueling mascots and Quincannon with his meet daughter. All of this and then the town and everyone in it is destroyed. The slate is clean for a new second season we can't wait to see. We'll be taking a break over the next few weeks until Fear the Walking Dead returns on August 21st. Let us know what you thought about #Preacher or what you hope to see in the upcoming season of Fear. As always, listener feedback is much appreciated, so keep it up! • 040: "Finish the Song" (Preacher:S1E8)

    27/07/2016 Duración: 01h16min

Finally, after our extended vacation and endless technical difficulties, we're back, and what a great episode to come back to in the latest Preacher! For our 40th installment of the podcast, we get the cowboy, a toasty Cassidy and a travel agent for hell. This was a great set up for what promises to be a great season finale next week.  Let us know your thoughts. As always, listener feedback is much appreciated, so keep it up! • 039: "He Gone" (Preacher:S1E6)

    12/07/2016 Duración: 01h45min

Who gone? We had a lot of speculation on that title, but generally if it's a HE in this show, it's Jesse. He did seem to be losing his grip in this new episode of Preacher, and what a great one! We delve more into his heart wrenching past and relationships, as well as Tulip's, and we see a kink in the power of the Monster Voice. Surprisingly Odin still seems to have control. Last but not least, Cassidy's fire display proves to Jesse that maybe there's more truth what what his intoxicated friend is telling him. Let us know your thoughts. The listener feedback is much appreciated, so keep it up! Drop us a line and let us know your thoughts at fearmepodacst@gmail.com, twitter @fearmepodcast or facebook www.facebook.com/fearmepodcast. Next ones going to be good!

  • 038: "Sundowner" (Preacher:S1E5)

    06/07/2016 Duración: 01h34min

Incredible fight scene! Need we say more? Well we did, and a lot more. This was a great episode of preacher with some action and great character development. We learn a good deal more about the angels, the entity and Eugene. Miles shows off his political prowess and Tulip trying her hardest to be good. We get left with a cliffhanger as Eugene gets told to go to hell...and does. Ross is with us again for this one and we get Scot back from the clutches of the Irish! Thanks for the continued support. Drop us a line and let us know your thoughts at fearmepodacst@gmail.com, twitter @fearmepodcast or facebook www.facebook.com/fearmepodcast. Next ones going to be good!

  • 037: "South Will Rise Again" (Preacher:S1E4)

    28/06/2016 Duración: 01h23min

In the latest episode of AMC's Preacher we're dropped back in time with the cowboy heading to Ratwater. A terrible place with some terrible people. He gets what he needs with some delay, but doesn't make it back in time to save his family. The symbolism of the hanging tree carries us into present day Annville where Jesse is getting a bit overconfident with his new found gift, and Donnie, of all people, seems to be the first to figure it out. The angels finally confront Jesse face to face to reason with him and impart that what he has inside is not God. Join us as our good friend Ross did in our latest discussion of Preacher. Kim and Stewart also got some time to watch a few other movies they give their thoughts on. We just can't wait until next Sunday! Share your thoughts on this episode or the series as a whole. Email us at fearmepoodcast@gmail.com, Find us on twitter @fearmepodcast or facebook. Thanks for listening!

  • 036: "Monster Swamp" (Preacher:S1E3)

    20/06/2016 Duración: 01h21min

Sheriff Root left us with Monster Swamp as his description of the world outside, and that's literally where we are dropped in the new episode of Preacher. We start to learn a good bit more about Odin, our meat and power baron, and his untouchable status. As proof of his newfound power Jesse takes on the challenge of converting even this man to follow God. Great installment that you can feel is just scratching the surface of the weird and entertaining this story has to offer. Here our thoughts in the latest podcast which was unfortunately Kim-less this go around. Please keep sharing your opinions with us through email at fearmepodcast@gmail.com, twitter @fearmepodcast or FB www.facebook.com/fearmepodcast

  • 035: "The Possibilities" (Preacher:S1E2)

    14/06/2016 Duración: 01h33min

Oh the Possibilities! Jesse gets to flex his powers with the monster voice and Cassidy egging him on while Tulip continues to bring out his dark side in the latest installment of Preacher. We also get a bit more insight on the two secretive agents trying to capture whatever is in Jesse. Great episode leads to a great discussion. There's a lot at the heart of the story telling in Preacher and we had a fun time dissecting it. Let us know your thoughts on Preacher. Keep sending your emails to fearmepodcast@gmail.com or find us @fearmepodcast on twitter. Don't forget to like us on facebook and rate us on itunes. Until Sunday then. Can't wait!

  • 034: "See" (Preacher:S1E1)

    10/06/2016 Duración: 01h25min

Finally we were able to sit down, escape any technical difficulties and record our discussion of Episode 1 of Preacher. What a great episode! I think we mentioned in our last podcast, we only hoped they could keep up the pace after the pilot. Did they ever? We get introduced to the early history of Ratwater, which we assume is Annville early days. Cassidy has an awesome chainsaw fight with the mysterious entity hunters. Last but not least, the development of Jesse's character was probably the backbone of the episode. We'll be following Preacher gladly this summer, so tune in and let us know what you think through facebook, twitter or at fearmepodcast@gmail.com.

  • 033: "Preacher Pilot" (Preacher:S0E0)

    30/05/2016 Duración: 58min

So we said we were going to cover AMC's new show Preacher after the 1st episode airs, but we just couldn't wait. The pilot episode was incredible and if you haven't seen it yet, you must. Great characters, dark humor and a very stylized direction set it apart from most shows. We're introduced to 3 main characters in Tulip, Cassidy and the preacher Jesse Custer as they come together in Annville, TX. There seems to be another invisible force at work that is being trailed by 2 mysterious characters we really know nothing about. In this struggle between good and evil we can only assume some major things are getting ready to be brought upon this small Texas town. We only hope the show can keep up the pace! We'll be following Preacher gladly this summer, so tune in and let us know what you think through facebook, twitter or at fearmepodcast@gmail.com.

  • 032: "Shiva" (FTWD:S2E7) MSF

    24/05/2016 Duración: 01h42min

Here we are, the mid season finale of season 2 for Fear the Walking Dead. They did leave us with a cliffhanger, but as Scot notes, we have a whole series of unanswered questions leading us into the summer with this episode. Is Daniel dead? Is Celia Dead? Will Chris try to stab his dad for talking to him? We had a fun discussion and Kim found a ton of news. Thanks to everyone for the listener feedback!!! We did not get to share everything, but know we'll keep trying to spread the love as long as you keep dishing it out. Don't forget you can email us a fearmepodcast@gmail.com and as long as your giving feedback, head over to itunes or soundcloud and give us a rating. We'll be back with a review of Preacher in 2 weeks!!

  • 031: "Sicut Cervus" (FTWD:S2E6)

    17/05/2016 Duración: 01h30min

Of course we make it to Mexico, maybe a bit easily, but the introduction of Luis' mom, murder of the church congregation and death of Thomas were just a few of the other things that really made this episode of FTWD. They didn't really leave us hanging for the mid season finale, but we can not wait to see what happens next. We had a great discussion, shared some listener input and wrangled a few news items to share. Please join us if you have not already or just get in touch through fearmepodcast@gmail.com, our website at fearmepodcast.com or through twitter @fearmepodcast. Thanks and enjoy!!! K, S & S

  • 030: "Captive" (FTWD:S2E5)

    11/05/2016 Duración: 01h36min

So the big question of do we see our lost Travis and Alicia is answered and we see the pirates defeated before they even become a threat. Maybe our crew is a bit tougher then we had initially thought. Great episode full of things to talk about, so talk we did. Unfortunately, Scot was a bit more civil this go round. We had some great listener comments and reviews in as well. Thanks for the tweets, feedback and your own insight on FTWD. Let us know your thoughts if you haven't already and leave a review on itunes, soundcloud, stitcher or whatever podcast outlet you find us.

  • 029: "Blood in the Streets" (FTWD:S2E4)

    03/05/2016 Duración: 01h17min

'Blood in the Streets' was another great installment of FTWD which has really developed into an awesome stand alone series. In this episode we peel back another layer of the character Strand's backstory and learn, maybe he isn't so evil. We do get the definitive answer that he is not involved in the outbreak and find his true reason for being in LA as well as who he's been talking to. Also we get PIRATES!. This was a great discussion and we hope you enjoy. We did get some listener mentions in there and we appreciate all the input on FTWD as well as our little podcast. Let us know your predictions for next week through tweet, FB comment or catch us at fearmepodcast@gmail.com.

  • 028: "Ouroboros" (FTWD:S2E3)

    26/04/2016 Duración: 01h26min

Episode 3 of Fear the Walking Dead did not disappoint. From the zombie stuck in the boat intake to the chase through the dunes, 'Ouroboros' was filled with thrill after thrill. Finally, we also see the remnants of Flight 462 arrive on scene only to be cut loose. We digest the good and bad, mostly good, in our latest podcast, so please come give it a listen, possibly a like or maybe even tweet it a bit. Thanks for all of the comments and feedback. Keep it coming.

  • 027: "We All Fall Down" (FTWD:S2E2)

    21/04/2016 Duración: 01h30min

Please excuse our delay in getting the new podcast up. It wasn't for lack of excitement. In fact we had too much as our very own Scot became a grandfather Monday. A huge congratulations to him and his son Josh.  To our FTWD family, WOW! They are really delivering on this season and we could not be happier. We were brought in thinking pirates, but no, the crew is able to take shelter on an odd peice of rock while the pursuers pass by. We didn't mind a bit as a series of apocalypse questions were answered and the mystery of Strand becomes slightly more revealed.  We're lucky to have Ross join us again for this one with some great insight but even better humor. Thankfully releasing our podcast so late means less time until Sunday. Don't forget to like us on Facebook, catch us on Twitter  and email us your thoughts.
