Alex and Steve are back from their CFL East Road Trip and it is time to talk football! They join Greg to first honour the memory of former Riders' Head Coach Ken Miller, who passed away this past week. Then the guys go over the Riders losing to the Argos by a rouge... A ROUGE!!!! They look at ups, the downs, Corey Mace's self evaluation, and where the team goes from here. 1-4-1 In the past 6, and still first in the West! How do you celebrate first place and be mad at the games? Alex, Greg, and Steve try to make it make sense.    The guys break down the very close loss to the CFL leading Montreal Alouettes, including a long look at the future of Brett Lauther. How was the return of Trevor Harris as QB1? Did he mesh with the new receivers? Was the defense the real deal? And most importantly how did the command centre screw up this week? A TIE!!! THERE ARE NO TIES IN FOOTBALL... well apparently there are. Fresh off an emergency live stream after the tie in Ottawa Greg and Alex are back and they brought Steve with them to fire another few shots at the CFL Command Centre.  The guys breakdown the 22-22 tie with the Ottawa Redblacks and what it means going forward. Plus with Trevor Harris returning from injury, where did Shea Patterson rank on his 6 games as the QB1. Then in the Odds and Endzones, Nathan Rourke is putting his NFL dream on pause to return to the CFL as the league's highest paid player. So, what does that mean for West MOP front runner Vernon Adams? New ownership for Edmonton Elks is due to be announced this week, and Greg gets fired up that their first priority might not be winning.   Plus a full preview on the upcoming home game versus the Fajardo-less Alouettes and Piffles Picks.

Petra Mace, wife of Saskatchewan Roughriders Head Coach Corey Mace joins Alex for a special interview for the Piffles Podcast! What is it like to be the spouse of a pro football head coach? 5-1!!!! The Riders downed the Bombers and the guys lost Steve to volleyball! Greg and Alex look at the Bombers' Adam Bighill's end of the game hit on Riders' QB Shae Patterson, break down the Riders win against the Bombers, who looked great and most importantly the Obsidian jerseys. The Guys break down the Riders' dismantling of the Tiger-cats from quick start till the end where Corey Mace finally got a true Gatorade shower. The look at who looked great, what the Riders need to tighten up, and who needs to heal up during the bye week. In the Odds and Endzones, Winnipeg threw everything they had at BC and still couldn't win, Montreal looks like a juggernaut, Edmonton just can't get out of their own way, and can we all stop talking about sideline signs. Saskatchewan Roughriders Linebacker C.J. Avery joined Alex to talk his time in Riderville so far, his knack for clutch interceptions and Sunday's upcoming rematch with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The good, the bad, the massive amount of penalties in the first half, the players stepping up, and how much different this team is under Corey Mace.   Then in the Odds and Endzones the guys dig into how bad Winnipeg looked, ask if Calgary is better or Hamilton bad, wonder if Chad Kelly is going  to get his job back based on Cameron Dukes first game, and the chipped ball controversy. LET'S GO RIDER FANS!!! We have made it through the off season and EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING!!! Alex, Greg, and Steve break down the surprise drop of the new alternate logo and uniform, discuss the final Rider cuts and roster moves,  and make some very bold predictions. Plus the CFL announced the Grey Cup Halftime show before the season started, CFL fans don't have to talk Chad Kelly for awhile, and TSN released their Top 50 players for 2024, and there is an actual game to preview. CFL is back!

The boys are back and they are planning the parade route! Alex, Greg, and Steve talk about another Riders' undefeated preseason, who looks good, who has to go, and what the Riders will do about the most important position to Rider Nation, QB2. Plus the BC Lions knock another game concert out of the park, the Weston Dressler Hall of Fame debate, and they try to figure out Brett Lauther's preseason issues.

Rider Nation got their first peek at what a Corey Mace team is going to look like and Alex and Greg are here to talk about it! Tried to make sense of the back up QB situation and who in the really stacked defense is going to be on the outside looking in. Chad Kelly finally said something right through a statement so what does that mean for the CFL? Plus the guys breakdown the upcoming second preseason game in Edmonton. 

A day late but never a dollar short! The Guys are back and we are officially into training camp and we have an exhibition game coming! Alex, Greg, and Steve dig into the optimism and excitement coming out of Rider training camp in Saskatoon. The early camp moves, the always important left tackle debate, the surprise cuts, and who has made an impression early in camp. Plus the guys discuss the Chad Kelly and Shawn Lemon situations and how they are different. But more importantly they have a game to preview. Preseason yes... but who cares? Football is back Baby!
