In this episode Chris Rutkowski and I discuss one of Canada's many UFO secrets. This isn't one of those secrets anyone is trying to keep though... I'm sure the town of St. Paul, Alberta would love to have the world find out about their unique contribution to Canada's UFO history. Shortly after the release of the prior episode in this series I connected with someone very close to this story and they offered to reveal some startling new details that will shed even more light on what may have happened to Emily Bailey. Brandon is the father of one of Emily's daughters. You've heard him mentioned in past episodes as he was the person responsible for reporting her missing to Hamilton Police. As you will learn from our conversation, Brandon was in regular contact with her leading up to her disappearance and some of the information she shared with him led to Brandon showing up at the door of Jeff's house in the days after the missing person report was filed. In our prior episode, we met with Emily’s brother Ben Bailey. Shortly after the release of that episode the show was contacted by a close friend of Emily's named Nikki. Nikki explained that she may be able to fill in many of the blanks related to Emily's last known whereabouts and possibly shed some light on the circumstances related to her disappearance. Nikki was one of the last people to see Emily, was polygraphed by Hamilton police, and provide investigators with some disturbing information regarding the man she last saw Emily with. This story will take us to Hamilton, Ontario in the time surrounding new year's day 2022. 23 year old mother of two Emily Bailey is juggling mental health struggles and addition while living a life resembling something between homelessness and couch surfing. Despite the instability of her lifestyle, Emily was reliable. She posted regularly to social media and had scheduled visits with her children that she would NEVER miss. But she did miss one in January and very quickly it was determined that no one had seen or heard from her in over a week. Now, over 4 months later, no sign of Emily has surfaced and given the transience of her life even the trail leading up to her disappearance is filled with mystery... obscured by conflicting statements of the unreliable witnesses of her last known days. Then 26 year old civil engineer Andrew Gnazdowsky and a co-worker were on site completing a survey of a Nova Scotia Power dam near Sheet Harbour in October of 2020. In this episode our story will take us to Bathurst, New Brunswick. On the morning of May 11th, 14-year-old Madison Roy Boudreau left home heading towards her school bus stop. When Madison didn't return home after school as expected, her dad was concerned. When she didn't return by curfew that night her father knew something was wrong. It's at that point the search for Madison begins. In the nearly twelve months since she was last seen developments in the case have changed the scope, the context, and the expectations of the search. Just after 4pm on August 18th, of 2021, 76 year old Paul Doughty walked up to McKay’s Wild Blueberrie’s roadside stand in Pennfield, NB and purchased a blueberry pie and a small cupcake style treat. Security camera footage shows the thin elderly man pay the cashier with a bill he pulls from his pocket before he walks out of view towards his parked vehicle pie in hand. This otherwise completely uneventful interaction is the last time Paul Doughty was seen and his family is desperate for answers. November 9 1996, three brothers spend the day with their non custodial father at his home in Torbay, Newfoundland. An hour before the boys were scheduled to be returned to their mother, she received a phone call from her estranged husband telling her he was not going to return the boys to her and had rigged his house to explode if anyone entered it. Despite the passage of over 25 years the father nor the three boys have been seen again. Unexpectedly, but not completely surprisingly, I received an email from a very excited lady from Quebec who claimed to have filmed some odd objects hovering in the sky near her home. She didn’t believe they planes or helicopters… Belia was convinced she witnessed something very unique and she wanted my opinion on the footage she captured. The video (which I’ve since enhanced and added to the Nighttime YouTube Channel) shows several bright, slow moving objects, travelling above the Ottawa river. It stumped me right off the bat and that doesn’t usually happen. Perhaps that’s why I wanted to figure this one out and I’m gonna take you along for the journey.
