Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. Your Minnesota Vikings make it five-in-a-row and improve to 6-1 in a 34-26 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Za'Darius Smith led the defensive charge with 3 sacks, as the Vikings Defense and Special Teams combined for a four sack, 3 turnover effort. Safeties Harrison Smith and Cam Bynum both added interceptions in the second half and the Vikings Defense was able to close out the game with a sack on Kyler Murray as time expired. Overall, the Vikings Defense stepped up when the team needed it most. Offensively, Kirk Cousins went 24 of 36 for 232 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns and had a 17-yard rushing touchdown to start of today's scoring. Both TE Johnny Mundt and WR K.J. Osborn caught touchdown passes and Justin Jefferson finished the day with 6 receptions for 98 receiving yards. Dalvin got cooking and finished the day with 141 all-purpose yards and a rushing touchdown. It was a tough fought game, but the Purple improve to keep their winning streak alive. Paul Al

Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. Your Minnesota Vikings improve to 5-1, outlasting the Miami Dolphins, 24-16. The win was a good way to go into the upcoming Bye Week, giving this team more positive momentum leading into the rest of the season. The Dolphins outgained the Vikings in multiple categories, including: total yards, time of possession and first downs. That being said, the biggest differences in the game proved to be the turnover battle (Vikings +3) and the numerous Dolphins penalties (10-97 yds) throughout. The Dolphins Defense made it uncomfortable today, sacking Kirk Cousins three times and holding the Vikings Offense to only 234 total yards. Kirk went 20-30 passing for 175-yards and 2 passing touchdowns. Jefferson led the team in receiving yards (6 rec - 107 yards) and both Adam Thielen and Irv Smith Jr. hit pay dirt in the game. Dalvin Cook had a frustrating game until he was able to close out the game with his 53-yard scamper late in the 4th. Cook finished with 83 total yards and a r

Welcome to the Week 5 edition of the Vikings Postgame Report. The Vikings started out hot with a 21-3 start, but the Bears clawed their way back into the game, leading to a dramatic final drive by the Vikings. The Vikings capped off the game with a game sealing touchdown and 2-point conversion. A bunch of records were broken today, including Kirk Cousins braking Tommy Kramer's "consecutive passes to start a Vikings game" record. Kramer held the record at 16 straight, but Cousins went 17-of-17 to start the first half of today's exciting game. Cousins finished the game 32 of 41 for 296 yards passing, 1 touchdown passing, 1 touchdown rushing and an interception. Justin Jefferson also had a big day, breaking his personal receptions in a game record, recording 12 receptions for 154 yards. Jefferson also added to his stats by throwing a first down pass for 23 yards to Dalvin Cook. Dalvin lead the rushing room with 18 carries for 94 yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and finished the day with 121 all-purpose yards for the

Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. Greg Joseph's five field goals propel the Vikings to a 3 - 1 record this season as the Minnesota Vikings get the win 28-25. Joseph's field goals from 28, 36, 24, 46, and 47 yards gave him a new personal record of five made kicks in a single game. Overall, Special Teams had a big day: Ryan Wright threw a 13-yard pass to Jalen Nailor on a fake punt that helped keep the drive alive and setup Joseph for his 4th field goal of the day and Kris Boyd recovered a punt fumble in the 3rd Quarter that lead to points. Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report.  It was another chapter in the latest slugfest between your Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions. The Vikings get it done, 28 - 24, on a late 28-yard touchdown reception by WR K.J. Osborn. It was a bend-not-break effort and the Vikings running game kept the offense moving after the Lions jumped out to a 14 - 0 lead in the first half. Dalvin Cook, Alexander Mattison and C.J. Ham combined for 155 total yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. QB Kirk Cousins finished his day: 24 of 41, 260 yards passing, 2 passing TD's and 1 sack.  WR Adam Thielen did his part by moving the sticks and capitalizing on a Second Quarter 1-yard touchdown reception.  Thielen finished with 6 receptions for 61 yards and 1 receiving touchdown. It was his 50th career touchdown reception, tying him with Vikings Legend Sammy White for fourth most in franchise history. K.J.
