Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report presented by Lumen - The trusted network of A.I. The Minnesota Vikings fell 22-6 to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Falcons defense made it difficult for the Vikings offense throughout the game. Vikings Quarterback J.J. McCarthy threw for 158 yards and ran for another 25 yards on the ground but also had 2 interceptions. Running back Jordan Mason led the team with 30 yards rushing and Justin Jefferson had 3 receptions for 81 yards. Jefferson hit a milestone in the game, notching his 500th career reception in the 2nd Quarter. Will Reichard scored the only points for the Vikings, converting kicks from 33 and 51 yards, respectively. Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings dropped their wild card weekend matchup against the Los Angeles Rams 27-9 down in Glendale, AZ. The Rams jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter and the Vikings were chasing the scoreboard all night. Sam Darnold was under duress throughout the game, taking 9 sacks in the contest.
