One of the biggest stumbling blocks for people moving to or staying in the city is finding a job. Ryan Landau of Re:Purpose doesn't only connect people to jobs, but the goal of his startup is to connect people to meaningful work.  He's an interesting entrepreneur, Detroiter, and he shares some of his tips on finding work in Detroit.  We caught up with him at Dessert Oasis in downtown Detroit to talk about his startup, Re:Purpose and how he's looking to make culture fit more predominant in the hiring process. 

Organic and vegan bakery on Detroit's Avenue of Fashion, Good Cakes and Bakes, is making moves in the Detroit region. April Anderson is the entrepreneur behind the growing business, and we caught up with her at the Build Institute.
