hristmas is a wonderful time of the year. Many traditions are found at this time, like foods, decorations, parties, gifts, songs, and yes, even movies. I'm sure we all have a favorite Christmas movie….right? It can be White Christmas, Frosty, Die Hard, or even one that was not mentioned. In this series we are going to pull out biblical truths that can help each of us live better lives from four Christmas movie favorites. Grab your favorite candy, popcorn and your Bible as we begin our series "Christmas At The Movies".

In the Navy they are taught the best way to fight a storm or hurricane was to move out to sea and anchor deep. There are times in our lives when we are caught in storms, maybe someone here is going through one right now. The best way to fight a storm is to anchor deep. Or maybe everything in life right now is going well...Guess what? It is also wise to drop an anchor deep. So who or what is this anchor? The author of Hebrews gives us the answer "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus has entered on our behalf" Hebrews 6:19-20. Join us as we drop anchor in 2023.
