Jesus lived unafraid of man, death, and betrayal.

Pride must die in us or nothing of heaven can live in us

Hosea redeems his wife Gomer from a life of temple prostitution

Despite Israel's unfaithfulness, God declares that He will win her back and take her as His bride.

Through the illustration of Hosea marrying a prostitute, God reveals to us that divine forgiveness is available to us today regardless of our past. (Hosea 1:1-11; 2:1)

God's providence helps us understand our purpose and gives us hope.
