It's the Brexit question. You know what we mean - we don't even have to say it. So, what does the future hold for AFC Wimbledon? Do we have a plan? Do we need to lose control to turn the ship around? Is the new Managing Director the solution to all our problems? Nick and Stu shoot the breeze, as well as talk a little bit about the football.

Somewhat tardy - we do apologise - but we have this week's podcast for you just in time to preview our visit to Stockport. Nick and Stu discuss the signing of Ryley Towler on loan from Bristol City, and what he brings to the side, before looking at our limitations as our squad, as evidenced in the defeat to Barrow.

Erm, Josh Davison is on the show this week. The clue is in the title. Our new number nine talks about the win at Crawley, his partnership with Nathan Young-Coombes, his time at Swindon and Charlton and Forest Green, his dad's memories of John Fashanu, and the potential of renationalising the railways. Either side of that, Nick and Stu have all the usual, including a happy memory of smashing Watford. Absolutely smashing them.

We are determined to have fun this season, so a 5-2 reverse at Mansfield on Tuesday was less than ideal. We address it head on and discuss the tactics behind the defeat, as well as the issue of a red card (which the FA has since determined was incorrectly given ... !!!), but then we're back to the fun with talk of Crawley, Sutton, other times we've conceded five, man-bags, and transfers. In the face of a disappointing week, we've tried to lift spirits (until Nick ruins it at the end).

Your common or garden podcast this week, as Nick and Stu review our draw at Hartlepool and League Cup exit to Gillingham. Are people reading too much into these two results? Should we not be happy with a team that is coming together nicely, if just a little lacking in front of goal? But more importantly - just how weird an evening was Tuesday night?! We also have our new features and Stu looks to improve his performance on Jackson Five.

Johnnie Jackson joins us this week to discuss the win over Gillingham. We also talk about the transfer window, away travel, family, switching off from football, and penguins. We also learn who he thinks is the best player he ever played with, his toughest opponent, and the dressing room that he thought was "a bit of a stinker". Stu and Nick go on to preview the trip to Hartlepool, play our new game Jackson Five, and introduce our new feature, "On That Side Of It".

Robin Bedford and Marc Jones join Nick and Stu at The Phoenix at Plough Lane to look ahead to the new campaign. We talk new players, departed players, culture, managers, and, of course, the new array of Hummel apparel that Marc and Robin were instrumental in planning. No room for errors this week as we went brave and broadcasted the podcast live on Youtube and Facebook. We had around 50 live viewers which was really appreciated and allowed for some lively discussion. Stu was joined by Mark, Spike and a slightly late Rob who had fallen asleep - I hasten to add that this was not during the show.We discussed the recent BBC London Show which included an interview with Mark Bowen and also looked at the new additions to the Dons Trust Board along with an honest assessment of the summer in store and our important league game at Fleetwood on Saturday. 

The 9yrsTV team discuss the 1-1 draw against Wycombe. The draw keeps us in with a mathematical chance of League One survival and we took live questions from fans about their confidence will will do it. 

As we enter the final three weeks of the season, Nick and Stu make some educated predictions / wild guesses as to how ourselves and our relegation rivals will get on. It's safe to say, our remaining fixtures don't look as daunting as those facing the others fighting for their League One lives ... 

What have Nick and Stu made of our first two games under Mark Bowen? We're talking team selection, formations, tactics (is 'low-block' a Brentism?), and individual responsibility. We also look ahead to Saturday's game, and Nick makes quite the prognostication.

Robbo out, Bowen in. What have Nick and Stu made of it all? There are questions to be asked of how our governance structure works following another managerial sacking - but there are also the positives that one Mark can bring, and the other Mark has already bought, to be discussed.

Stuart is joined by George Jones & Spike Godding this week.Just as we were about to press record for the podcast, the club released its board update and hey presto, that was our discussion sorted for the evening. 

Nick and Stu are joined by Mark Engelbretson to discuss where the club is at the moment. Mark stood for election to the Dons Trust Board in 2021, and shared his views on how the club has gone about the season - on and off the pitch.

A simple discussion of a performance against Sunderland that was inverse in quality of that of the referee. We're not in the business of criticising refs, because it lessens the impact of our critique when you get one that actually did perform quite poorly. We also look at our record during the thirds of the season, as we approach the final one, and compare our progress to where we were this time last campaign.

Yeah two defeats in a week makes it hard to be upbeat. We tried, but ... meh. Sucks the life out of you, doesn't it? Well, it does if you attended either of last week's defeats. It seems many decided against doing so, and did those people miss anything?! Still, good news about the Chocolate Oranges.

A draw with Wycombe to discuss in amongst musings on the world around us, and why, once again, life was better 25 years ago. We really were shooting the breeze this week.
