In Part II of our movie edition podcast, Kyle and Colin joined Lucia once again. What do you guys think about Homeland this season? We've recorded two Homeland podcasts this season, covering only the premiere and the second episode, so the time to return to the show was overdue. A lot has happened in the past few episodes of the Showtime drama, and Emily joined me to discuss the tension-filled insanity. This podcast contains spoilers for Homeland episodes up through and including 2x08, "I'll Fly Away." At the end (1:07:12) I talk a little bit about the movie LINCOLN, which I saw in the theater over the weekend, and this prompted some brief Oscar contender discussion.

On Saturday, we recorded another edition of the Heroine TV Podcast. Emily joined me once again, along with my sister Gianna, who was visiting for the weekend. We started off with some brief discussion of Wolf Lake, Paul Wesley's 2001 series which was recently released on DVD. Then we talked about the most recent episode of The Vampire Diaries, "The Killer," beginning at 3:03. Next up was Nashville discussion, beginning at 41:07. We talked about our love for Deacon, our dislike of Avery, and how Connie Britton probably came out of the womb with fabulous hair. Enjoy!

Lucia and Kyle discuss all things Dexter. Since this was recorded on Thursday, November 8th, they had not yet seen Sunday's latest episode, "Chemistry." Discussion starts with season 6 of Dexter, reflecting on the series on a whole. At about 28:21 in, they start referencing plot points from the season 7 premiere, but season 7 discussion begins in earnest at about 46:30. At that point, this podcast contains spoilers for episodes up to 7x06, "Do the Wrong Thing."At the end of the podcast they finish things up with discussion of Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm, at the 1:39: 44 mark.
