We're furious about it being a new month, but we've got nothing on our boy, Max. This dude...he's unhappy to say the least, and so we're kicking off March Maxness with the one and only, Mad Max! GROUNDHOG DAY month takes a turn for the horrifying with Christopher Smith's TRIANGLE. This one is far more complicated than a simple daily-reset thriller like the rest this month, but we think it's appropriate to the themes we've been playing with all month, of self-betterment. Our third week of A Winter's Lovecraft brings us to a recent entry, 2016's The Void. It's Astron-6 adjacent, and rose from the ashes of Del Toro's At the Mountains of Madness adaption, and is 100% worth your time. Next week, we wrap up the month with a Fulci double feature, The Beyond and City of the Living Dead.

It's our second week of A Winter's Lovecraft, and we're tackling a movie that is only tangentially Lovecraftian, but still very cosmic in its horror, Martyrs. But it's also very brutal in its horror, so if you don't want to watch it (but you should if you can; it's very good), listen to us talk about why it's the best incarnation of the French Extreme Horror genre.

New Year; New Month! We're going back to the Lovecraft well (where the color lies), to bring you films inspired by Lovecraft in A Winter's Lovecraft! We're kicking it off with Peter Weir's The Last Wave. A stunning film about impending doom...Doom....DOOOM. We'll be back next week with Martyrs!
