Oscar managed to open the car window by stepping on the control before the locking took full effect! I'm talking to author JD Penley on Book Talk Radio Club. JD is a father, an author, a publisher, a gamer, a car nut, and a self-proclaimed all-around nerd! He currently lives in North Carolina with his wife, and daughter who served as the inspiration for two of the characters in his first book. Since the first book was published, the Penley’s added a little boy to their family. JD enjoys writing fantasy stories, with particular focus on the supernatural such as vampires and magic or immortality. Nathan has been writing since middle/high school, where he was involved with the school newspaper and literary magazine but didn't publish his first full length novel until 2016. His goal in writing is simply to entertain his readers and to grow a loyal fan base to spread the word about his stories. He currently resides in Alabama with his wife and five children, where he landed after his enlistment in the Army came to a conclusion.
