In the third part of our Nehemiah mini-series, Ps Charlie brings together the themes of identity & purpose that we learnt about in the first two parts. Our identity always comes from God, but our purpose will always include other people & bring connection.

In the latest installment of the Recipe series, Ps Charlie looks at how identity affects purpose - when we encounter God & realise our identity as created in the image of God, we realise our purpose is for the image of God to flow out of us.

The whole of heaven is waiting for one soul to come into the Kingdom, and our role as a Christian is to pursue the one. What do you value in your life, do you value someone else's salvation?

Literally, how close are you to Jesus, is He part of your every decision, thought-process, priority? When we forget that we belong to a family, we forget that we have a purpose; but if we know that Jesus is King, we will know we belong wherever we go. This week, Ps Lisa shares the recipe for community, looking at what we can learn from Paul speaking to the Corinthian church, a community of Christians who have completely missed the point of what it means to be community!

What happens when you try to re-create a recipe without knowing the original ingredients/method? It could go wrong if you're just trying to create something that looks similar.... Following on from Ps Andy's video message last Sunday, we're starting our series looking at the recipe God has given us for church, so that we can be a church that tastes as good as it looks!

We are a new creation - growth is the expected outcome after birth. Growth can be uncomfortable, but life without growth isn't true life, it's only existence. This message looks at some Biblical examples of how people responded when God's plan for their growth pushed them out of their comfortability.
