On the Floor is back and more unorganized, jumbled, and scatterbrained as ever as we talk about new Netflix show Sense8. It's appropriate that we have a wide ranging discussion given that the show is about 8 lives in 8 different places and mind melds and the such. We give our overall thoughts on the show, what worked and what didn't, our fave characters, and who makes our sense8 workout list. Because we like to be on topic, this week's On the Floor podcast is about those movies that are big, loud and catastrophic aka disaster movies. We debate the classification of disaster movies, talk about what makes a good one, and share some of our favorites.

There might not been a more critical episode of this podcast recorded than this one in which we discuss the pilot for the Netflix series Between. We discuss what we liked (not much), what we didn't (a ton), and what this show's week to week strategy means for Netflix going forward. Le Noir Auteur also drags Hemlock Grove and gushes about Sense8 trailers for good measure.

Sometimes you hit on a podcast topic that happens to be pretty topical which is what happened when On the Floor decided to talk about Hollywood's sequel and remake obsessed culture right after Pitch Perfect 2 made $70 million and Poltergiest is about to open. We get into a pretty animated discussion about what this all means and how we got to this point. Enjoy!

…recorded from the floor of my roommate’s room. I guess this means that I’m starting a new podcast? Yes, let’s go with that. My roommate Spagettit and I recently finished the Netflix show Daredevil and we were so brimming with thoughts that we decided to make a foray into the podcast world. This should be seen as a companion piece to the show as we talk about all the episodes and what we liked/disliked about the show. We rave about our favorite scenes, discuss the polarizing characters of Foggy and Karen, and even get into a conversation about Netflix’ future plans to release shows.
