Last week we spoke about the cost of our faith but this week will explore the source of the faith. This life is a journey of ups and downs, victories and failures. Yet this passage is a reminder that not only did God die for me but He's keeping me.

The passage we're reading is a love story. A tragic love story about a God who's committed to a people that aren't committed to Him. The sermon today explores the exclusivity of love. For love involves both commitment and denial. It's the commitment to one person while denying all others. The question we have to ask ourselves is what are holding on too that's stopping us from accepting God's invitation for love
