Tomorrow's Legends

Yo ho ho, a pirate's life for me! Grab yer rum and hoist the Jolly Roger high, we’re on a quest for cursed treasure! Captain Jack Sparrow is off looking for more rum, so we’re tossing in with the Dread Pirate Jiwe to find buried treasure.   Synopsis   Ray, Amaya and Mick are debating where to find the five known totems and what the sixth totem might be. Ray tells them that the Fire totem is currently in Detroit 2018 and asks Sara if she’s ready to track it down. She declines, stating she has business in Star City (which is really a date with Ava), and tells the team to head to Detroit. Unfortunately, someone has already beaten them to it: Damien Darhk has the Fire totem.   Fortunately, Nate announces he knows where the Earth totem is. It seems Blackbeard has possession of it in the Bahamas 1717. Sara is still on her date, so the team decides to go to 1717 and retrieve the Earth totem before Sara and Ava have dessert. Mama Mia! Here I Go Again! It’s Hedgehog Day, again. Hedgehog Day? You told me you would know what I meant if I said Hedgehog Day! This time loop is driving me crazy. I don’t know if I can keep doing this.   Synopsis   Zari remained on the Waverider while the rest of the team rescued a Waterloo recording from Napoleon. She takes full advantage of the Captain being away and in addition to performing maintenance, she uploads a program she designed to find a loophole in history that will save her brother. Unfortunately, it had a few unintended consequences, including frying Gideon’s cortex. When the team returns, they find out Zari has uploaded the program and Sara orders her to fix the ship. As Ray trips over his platforms (for the first of multiple times), Zari storms off to try and fix Gideon. During her repairs, she loosens a hose and a highly volatile substance that fuels the time drive sprays into her face. Moments later, the Waverider explodes.   Zari finds herself exactly 1-hour earlier, just finishing h

John Constantine joins the Legends in an unexpected quest to save Nora Darhk from the demon Mallus. The team loses Nora to the Order, preserving her future and our present, while Mallus gains a stronger hold over our Captain.   Synopsis   John Constantine breaks into an asylum to save Emily (aka Nora Darhk) and discovers something he was not expecting: the demon possessing Nora is Mallus and knows Sara Lance. Constantine tracks down the Legends in Central City and questions Sara about her involvement with Mallus. Sara reveals she traveled to the spirit world, allowing her to be known to, and tracked by, Mallus. She then convinces Constantine to allow her and the Legends to tag along to the exorcism.   As soon as they arrive and find Nora, Kuasa arrives at the asylum to prevent the Legends from interfering with Mallus’ possession of Nora Darhk. Amaya takes her on while the rest of the Legends try to wake Nora. In the end, Nate leaves to help Amaya and uses Leo’s cold gun to freeze Kuasa. They return to the Wav

We are back with a special episode discussing all the theories for the first half of season 3! As he is running from the crowd of “barbarians,” he instantly becomes this week’s anachronism when he is transported to Vinland and encounters real barbarians.   Leo, the Legends new resident therapist, has decided to hold grief counseling sessions with a Professor Stein puppet. Perhaps this was a bit in poor taste, and luckily for Jax, his session is interrupted by an anachronistic time quake. It will be the event of the year, and believe me, you do not want to miss it!   Synopsis   Oliver, Sara, Stein, Jax and Alex have been imprisoned on Earth-X and appear to be waiting for their execution. Luckily, another prisoner has an escape and while our heroes are being lead to their slaughter, Citizen Cold has other plans. He rescues our heroes and his partner from Lance’s evil gestapo and bring them back to their Earth-X base. Back at the base, we meet General Winn Shott who informs our heroes he is about to destroy their only way home. He can save his earth if he imprisons the Fuehrer (Oliver) on Earth-1. Alex negotiates with the General and convinces him to give them one hour before blowing their only way home. Welcome to the jungle at the height of the Vietnam War. It’s time for Operation Toughlove which could change the course of history.   Synopsis   With their Captain sidelined by Eleanor Darhk, the team trains and tries to decide their next course of action. Stein delays telling Jax he cannot solve the Firestorm uncoupling problem and tries to wake Sara. He tells the Legends Sara has not woken up and they all decide she would want them to continue fixing anachronisms. Jax randomly picks Vietnam 1967, a level 8 anachronism.   Jax and Stein remain on the Waverider with Sara while the rest of the team heads into the jungle to assess the situation. Mick and Nate return to the “scene of the crime” and realize this anachronism is big and dangerous. As they try to leave, they run into Mick’s dad, of all people, who turns out to be a Green Beret. Mick reveals to Nate the reason he was dreading running into his old man: he let him burn in the fire he started when he was 13 years old.   Meanwhile, Amaya, Ray and Zari pos

Helen of Troy steals the limelight from brilliant inventor/actress Hedy Lamarr, inadvertently starting a war among the Hollywood studios. Who’s mad about who now?   Synopsis   Hollywoodland 1937. The Golden Age of the movie business. Helen of Troy dropping men left and right, and causing a war despite being in a different time and place. Back on the Waverider, Nate is in desperate need of a shower, but eventually discovers Helen as the anachronism. Unfortunately, not before Ray accidentally cause Jax and Dr. Stein to switch bodies. Must be Tuesday.   The Legends head out to a Hollywood gala, hoping to convince Helen to come quietly and return to her own time. The team did not predict that Helen would not want to leave her new home. She has no desire to return to a time where thousands are killed in her name. Sara follows her back to the party and runs right into her new agent: Damien Darhk.   Apparently, anachronisms are good for business! Whatever that means. Return of the Darhk… Come on… Return of the Darhk… Here I am! Not exactly a sparkly vampire, but hey, we’ll take it.   Synopsis   Rip has traveled to the time of Jack the Ripper for the sole purpose of doing his best Sherlock Holmes impression. Or just to chase an evil god who exists throughout time. Meanwhile, back on the Waverider, Nate pulled an all nighter to work out the pattern of the anachronism map. As it turns out, the map’s pattern is the golden ratio and forms a spiral pattern, except for two outliers: Seattle 2042 and London 1895.   The team travels back to Victorian London and interviews the coroner who performed the autopsy on their anachronistic corpse. He explains that the corpse fell from the sky and promptly stole his futuristic watch. He directs the Legends to a cemetery where he buried the corpse in an unmarked grave. Unfortunately, someone has beaten them there, twice! The Legends expect to find a very dead corpse and are surprised when a very alive Rip Hunter crawls out of the grave.   A

Is anyone else suddenly craving Reese’s Pieces? The Dominator Queen returns to rescue her time displaced baby who has befriended a young Ray Palmer.   Synopsis   Ray, Ray… ever the optimist. After an anachronistic baby Dominator appears in 1988 Ivy Town, Ray’s eight-year-old self befriends it. Unfortunately for him, he has bigger things to worry about than bullies--he is murdered by the NSA on Halloween! A very familiar looking government agent, Agent Smith, chases young Ray and orders his death when he tries to save the baby Dominator from experimentation.   Agent Smith in 1951   The Legends travel back in time to prevent Ray’s murder. Ray is immediately tipped off that something has altered his life--first he shoplifts from the newsstand, then he skips school! Trying to understand the change to his younger self, Ray peeks through his bedroom window to discover he has a baby Dominator living in his bedroom.   Zari and Ray return to his childhood home to take the baby Dominator back to it’s rightful place in

Seattle 2042. Our not so distant future has outlawed religion and metahumans, trading freedom for the safety of a police state patrolled by ARGUS. The Legends are introduced to Zari, a hacker, who inherited one of the Anansi totems from Zambesi.   Synopsis   The Legends intercept Gary’s distress call after he witnesses Kuasa kill two ARGUS guards transporting a prisoner. Kuasa is after their prisoner, Zari Tomaz, who possesses the Anansi totem which controls the wind. The Legends “rescue” Gary before Agent Sharpe can send back-up and track Zari to her hideout.   Unfortunately, an ARGUS drone follows the Legends, trapping them at the hideout. Zari hacks the drone so she can escape while the Legends are stuck. Fortunately, getting out of these situations is their specialty. The Legends regroup on the Waverider where Jax discovers Zari has quite the rap sheet. Rory seems impressed and knows what her next move will be: head to the bar.   The Legends join Zari at the bar and Kuasa shows up just after them. Jax and

Lions and sabertooths and Vixens, oh my! The Legends join PT Barnum’s Grand Traveling Museum, Menagerie, Caravan & Hippodrome, causing a minor anachronism to turn it up to 11! But of course, the Legends have tackled immortals and evil speedsters, so really, what can’t they handle?   Synopsis   Ray has been hard at work (I mean, really, what else is there to do at Up Swipes?) perfecting his Shrink Ray technology. He also reverse engineered the technology from the Time Bureau and created an anachronism map, just like the one Rip uses, to see just how much they’ve messed up time. Apparently, a lot. He unveils it the team and Gideon finds an easy anachronism for the Legends to tackle, proving their competency to the Time Bureau.   So, it’s off to join the circus! After locating the anachronism, a displaced sabertooth tiger, Ray attempts to shrink it down, but misjudges height, or weight, or gender, or all of the above and "embiggens" the sabertooth instead of shrinking it. Veni. Vidi. Vici Caesar and the Time Bureau! We back baby! Synopsis We picked up right where we left off, in LA with dinosaurs, Big Ben and all sorts of anachronisms running around. We are quickly joined by the “newly” formed Time Bureau that Rip founded five years prior. He disbands our team and we jump six months to the “present” timeline. Sara, Ray and Nate are unhappy in the various jobs they have taken now that they are no longer traveling through time. Mick, on the other hand, is quite content on the beach in Aruba until Julius Caesar interrupts his sunbathing. After Mick calls Sara about his situation, she takes Nate and Ray to the Time Bureau to secure the Waverider from Rip. After a not-so-warm welcome, Rip gladly parades the Legends around the Time Bureau, showing off his efficient operation. It ends with a tour of their simulator which is none other than the Waverider. Welcome back Legendaires! Flash and Harley here for our review of season 2 and predictions for season 3. There has been TONS of news and lots of chatter at cons over the summer.   News Premiere date is October 10th, 2017. Legends will keep the 9 PM time slot following The Flash on Tuesday nights. Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. Extra special episode dedicated to feedback for the Season 2 finale, Aruba.  This has been a great season and what a ride it has been! We hit the ground running and there was no looking back, well, except for this episode where the Legends went back in time to change the course of reality. It was touch and go for a while, but the Legends pulled through in the end to save the day and secure their places in history. Aruba, Jamaica, oh I want to take ya, Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go… back to 1916 and run into our past selves causing a paradox and perhaps destroying time itself! Synopsis Seriously though, we could be on the beach, drinking mai tai’s with girls in bikinis. Anyway, Rip discovered he was miniaturized in Star Labs and made a break for the nearest open window to rendezvous with the rest of the team. Rory laughs at mini Rip and shakes the Waverider around like a toy. Puzzled, the team ask him why the Legion used the Spear of Destiny to shrink him and he informs them he must have used Ray’s Atom suit. The Legends head to Star Labs to recover the suit and are interrupted by Damien Darhk. Rory saves Ray and Jax so Ray can restore the Waverider and Rip to the correct dimensions. The Waverider busts out of Star Labs and the team explains the plan to Rip. In 1916, the Legends come-up with a plan to steal the Spear of Destiny and destroy it. Step 1: recover the blood of

One spear to rule them all, one spear to find them, one spear to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. Synopsis Rip Hunter reveals the Legion of Doom has been hiding out of time at the Vanishing Point. The Legends return, seeking the final two pieces of the Spear. On reconnaissance duty, the Atom keeps an eye on Thawne while staying out of sight this time. Jax and Rip find pieces of the Spear hidden in an obelisk that Firestorm quickly transmutes into jelly beans (yum!). Rory revisits the spot where Snart sacrificed himself to save the team and Sara urges him to return to the ship before they are caught. Thawne is notified that the vault holding the Spear has been compromised, but he is too late. The Waverider vanishes before his eyes as he speeds out of his lair. The Legends lay the pieces of the Spear in close proximity and it heals itself into one whole Spear before their eyes.
