  • Scottish Climate Assembly - Ministers Q and A

    In 2021 a Scottish Citizens Assembly was convened to consider climate change and the journey to net zero.   Work took place remotely over 7 weekends.  You can see all evidence sessions and the plenary discussions on the website https://climateassembly.scot A report with recommendations was presented to the Scottish Government, who gave a written response, both of which are available on the website. Following the Government's response, the Climate Assembly met for a final weekend 8 to consider the government's response.   As part of that weekend, a Ministerial Q and A was held with Patrick Harvie MSP and Richard Lochhead MSP where representatives of the Climate Assembly pose a series of challenging and robust questions to the Ministers.
