Bart, fed up with Homer's neglect, joins the Big Brother program posing as an abandoned child. Homer exacts his revenge by donating his time as a big brother to a real orphan named Pepi.

Selma decides to have a baby, and searches for the perfect father. She then experiences what life with children is like by taking Bart and Lisa to Duff Gardens, which does not go as planned.

After receiving a considerable donation of money, Springfield builds a monorail system with Homer as the conductor, they soon realise the town has been scammed by crook Lyle Lanley.

Years of poor eating habits catch up with Homer when he suffers a massive heart attack. The family can't afford the triple bypass operation he needs from Dr. Hibbert, so they go to a discount quack named Nick Riviera.

The family is forced to spend all of their savings to get Bart's new tattoo removed, and with no money Christmas, Homer is forced to become a store Santa

Homer buys a snow plow and starts a business plowing driveways. It is a huge success, and inspired by this, Barney starts a rival company and quickly puts Homer out of business.

Bart becomes infatuated with his new neighbour, while Homer is kicked out of an all-you-can-eat restaurant after eating too much.

Marge takes a job at the nuclear plant to help pay for the house's foundation repair, and Mr. Burns is smitten by her.

After repeatedly misbehaving, Homer disciplines Bart by telling him he can't go to the new Itchy and Scratchy Movie.

Homer sells his ticket for the Duff Blimp to enter Lisa in a beauty pageant, to try and boost her confidence.

After skipping church one week, Homer decides that he is never going back. However, when a calamity occurs, it takes the combined efforts of a number of people from different faiths to save him.

Marge wins the role of Blanche DuBois in a community theatre musical version of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire. Homer offers little support for his wife's acting pursuits, and Marge begins to see parallels between him and the play's boorish lead male character

Bart and Lisa head to Kamp Krusty for the Summer, but instead of meeting Krusty, them and the other kids are put to work making crummy merchandise.
