This film impacted all of us, but each a little differently. This near perfect film led us to a discussion on religion, family dynamics, and the pain of growing up. TURN AROUND! Every now and then we sit down and watch a very boring episode of TV. This was one of those times. We all agreed we probably just drew a dud of an episode, but we were thoroughly unimpressed by this particular episode of TURN. Is the show as a whole good? We'll probably never know. SHE FUCKED THE FISH! We finally saw The Shape of Water, and it was as strange and imaginative as we thought it was going to be. There is no denying that Guillermo del Toro created a masterpiece with this film. As we continue to watch more of the nominated films, we're constantly reassessing our thoughts on which we think deserves the title of Best Picture. This week we discuss Penny Dreadful. We had some high hopes for this one. A few of us were kind of hoping this would spark a binge of the SHOWTIME show, but we ended the episode a little freaked out.  Have you guys watched this? Were you scared?
